Aglio -Olio Pork Belly (RM 33) Divinely delicious and double thumbs up! The Aglio Olio which is served together with the crackling delicious pork belly is a must to have here. The aglio olio is perfectly cooked till al-dente with complete flavours and aromatic hint.
In conjunction with Parents Day, Brotzeit offers you with their signature platter. Say thanks to your mum and dad the whole month of May and June and indulge with their signature dish all in one. Indulge in their signature pork knuckle, a loaded schnitzel, nürnberger & spicy chicken sausages, along with sides of garden veggies, fries & mashed potatoes. It is only priced at RM 195 nett per set.
There is also a Dinner Specials menu, which is available daily from 6pm. We had the pork fillets on rosti (RM33), which comes with a delicious black peppercorn cream sauce. The rosti (Swiss shredded potato) is thin and crispy, topped with bacon.
Grilled Pesto Chicken Sandwich, 18 ringgit The sandwich was delicious and I don’t know if you noticed – it was huge, yawwww. Literally a case of “I can eat half now and the rest later” situation. Basically, you’d get a large piece of Ciabatta bread with pesto + grilled chicken + tomatoes + cheese. It was surprisingly delicious. Why surprising? because simply judging from the size of the bread to filling ratio, it did not seem to match. However, upon tasting it, it tasted awesome. You’d be able to taste the pesto and grilled chicken just fine despite the thickness of the bread.
I have had my share of German Meatloaf Recipes in Waldorf, Germany whenever I had work assignment over there. And it really had been such a long time since having that last taste of German Meatloaf.
Der Backmeister known for its Artisan German bakery and coffee shop that serves traditional and healthy bread, one of its kind; perhaps not just in TTDI but maybe the country.
Verdict: Overall, the food was pretty satisfying, scored well in terms of flavours and presentation. But the price was a bit on higher side (for my standard) and the service can be a little prompter.
Pork 2 Ways was delicious. I’m not a meat lover but this is exceptional. Pork 2 Ways @ RM 40
2ND Floor Kitchen & Bar at TTDI, Kuala Lumpur holds the nuances of a hipster cafe for relaxing brunch during the day; yet provides an elegant, welcoming ambience of a restaurant bar for intimate, casual dining in the evening.
In here, one must have is their Giant Pork Knuckle. The pork knuckle which is cooked for 3 hours and then being deep fried till perfection. They are then served with the black pepper sauce, baby potatoes, bacon sauerkraut, and grilled vegetables.
Weissbrau is clearly Saturday worthy as this is our second time returning and Mark has begun calling it our “go-to Pavilion place.” It’s not cheap, but you’re going to be spending at least that much at any of the fine dining restaurants at Pavilion Mall. At least at Weissbrau, you’re sure to get a large amount of good food that will fill you up. It’s not the best German eatery in KL nor do they have the most authentic menu, but in a super touristy location like Pavilion KL, this place could be a lot worse… or should I say wurst?

Stay far away from Bavarian Bierhaus in Bukit Bintang. They can’t even cook sausages properly – what chance does the other food have?
The Char-boiled Australian lamb cutlet wasn't a big piece but I like the rosemary sauce, overall not bad!
Bavarian Bierhaus has now been renovated fully enclosed with air-conditioned. At that price, it is likely the cheapest in town!
It is expensive to eat here, especially when beer is involved. Stammtisch is likely our only source of German beer within a convenient distance from us, and the spaetzle was very satisfying. The service during our visit was a bit shit, but they didn’t mess anything up. Hopefully, the disinterested attitude of the waitresses was just a problem for this day. I haven’t tried Bavarian Bierhaus at The Curve, which looks cheaper and has a better food presentation than Stammtisch. Until I do, Stammtisch KL is now my preferred place when I want to taste Germany again.
The Hackbraten (RM50), homemade German meatloaf, came highly recommended. Made with a mixture of ground beef and pork along with tomatoes, onions and spices, the meatloaf is baked and served with mashed potatoes and blaukraut (braised red cabbage). The meatloaf was really moist and flavorful and the sweet and tangy blaukraut complements it perfectly.
Nicely Done. We have a delightful meal here.
Verdict: It’s definitely a pleasant dining experience at Der Backmeister, in terms of food and environment. I’ll come back again for sure!
Having been to its first outlet in TTDI previously, the toothsomeness of the bread and meatloaf has always remained vividly since then. The fact that nowadays we hardly go to TTDI area is due to its notorious car park challenge, haha. Therefore upon learning that they have opened another outlet here at Bunglow 37, it was definitely a delightful news for it’s nearer to me now and also within the same neighbourhood of my other fave steak place at Huck’s Café!
Pollo Apollo (RM 30.50) Must TRY! Enjoy the wholesome fresh, hand cut bone-in pork lion grilled on an open flame, and served with a honey ,reduced orange ginger sauce. The dish is absolutely delicious and good. It makes it to our must have dish if we are coming back!
Verdict: As far as the food was concerned, we had no complaints on what we’ve tried on our several visits. Good environment, attentive service, reasonable price range and not far from our home, a place that we would like to visit to further their menu.
综合以上所有的吃后感,如果想要在这个商场,以不伤荷包的价格吃一餐比较特别的,那这是一个不错的选择,而且我觉得这里的服务态度还不错。
Top of choice in Am Sande are the German Steaks, grilled to your liking in the intense heat of lava orcks and enhanced with a special blend of black pepper and other spices. There are two main steaks; rib-eye and sirloin steak, both are 230 gram. I like to try my Sirloin Steak, just priced rm38.90 only! It is reasonable price for the family who can sharing it together!
Reasons to visit Der Backmeister Ampang: hearty European style breads (you can order the full selection from the larger bakery online and collect them from this Ampang branch or even have them delivered to your door); meals made with wholesome, good quality, simple ingredients – minimum processing and no nasties (ie no artificial flavours, colours and so on); The Big Backmeister is incredibly good value, the pasta dishes are simple and tasty and sweet tooths should not miss the apple strudel.
Apart from the Oktoberfest Platter For 4, there's also the Oktoberfest Plate ~ featuring traditional fest food of Sausages, Smoked Pork Loin, Bavarian Meatloaf topped with crispy Bacon and served alongside with Sauerkraut, Mash Potato and a mini Brez'n.
The highlight of the Oktoberfest 2019 menu is the Oktoberfest Platter for 4 (RM205.00). It is a sharing platter that will go well with your icy cold German beer.
Overall, Brotzeit places emphasis on quality ingredients and food presentation.
A peaceful and relaxing environment with warm lighting serving Italian and German cuisine. There's a water fountain outside the restaurant which gives diners a better view while enjoying their meal here. It's undoubtedly a great place to hang out or perhaps a family gathering.
This sensual passion is playfully interpreted in their menus of Western fusions with a touch from the Orient- interplaying locally market produced to carefully-selected ingredients across the globe.
