My dish was the Shoyu Salmon; which is literally just raw salmon. Almost every time I go to the Fish Bowl, I always choose the same ingredients; herby lime sauce, gar-gar sauce, cherry tomatoes, edamame, chili flakes, pickled cucumber, mango, almonds and brown rice as my base. I absolutely love this combo because it has a kick of acidity but the sweetness from the other ingredients make sure that the overall flavour of the bowl is rounded. The gar-gar sauce would definitely be a hit for those who love garlic and the herby lime complemented the raw salmon very well! The portion of the salmon and the sides were generous so it’s worth it for the price. I would point out that the portion of the brown rice did seem a bit lesser than before; maybe it’s just me? Or maybe they were running out of brown rice? I’m not too sure. My bowl was also RM 20.90 but it was definitely worth it!

Here's the location.
We created our own Poké by picking – brown rice (base), garlic and teriyaki (sauces), corns, edamame, walnuts and seaweed salad (sides), chia seeds, furikake, fish roe (toppings), shoyu salmon and spicy shoyu tuna (protein). Overall taste, is very scrumptious (better than any Japanese sashimi rice bowl), really wish that we could enjoy this delicious salad once on a daily basis but we have no choice but to make it as a monthly thing due to location and wallet damage issues! 😉
This time around, we decided to try Tuna Shoya Chili and its tastes super fresh. Of course, as usual my sister requested for more sauce and you can clearly see it in the picture. YUM!! I’m glad they opened an outlet in 1 Utama Shopping Center. Now, I don’t have to travel all the way to Bandar Sunway for this. Tuna Shoya Chili @ RM 17.90
After eating the Poke Bowl at Eatomo, I have always wanted to try another one.
Citrus Salmon was superb. I like the citrus taste and all the toppings & sides that my boyfriend chooses goes well together. Good Choice and I would love to give it a try during my next visit. Citrus Salmon @ RM 19.90/ Green Tea @ RM 2.90
I think it’s safe to say that as long as you love chirashi-don, you will most likely share the same sentiment about poke bowl. If you are considering to try Paperfish’s poke bowls, you should know that they are running a promotion where you can get 50% off the second bowl. The promotion is valid from 2 May 2017 to 30 Jun 2017 and available during weekdays only from 3pm to 6pm.
Paperfish TTDI menu focuses on poké bowl-inspired dish originated from Hawaii. And no, it is not related to Pokemon. The term “poke” means “sliced or cut”. It is traditionally appears as cubed fish seasoned in various way, then eaten on its own or over rice. It may be “reconstructed” over the time, but still stay true to its core idea. In fact, it has swiftly becoming highly favored, flavourful yet wholesome rice bowl.
The proteins were fresh and the taste commendable. It's a quick and healthy bowl of food for people on the go. I just wish they had a bigger dine-in space than just the four-or-so tables. The only drawback would probably be the portion size...which is good for a small to medium eater. Big eaters will need two bowls or perhaps an upsized one could be sufficient. Looks like this will be a regular pit-stop for me when I'm seeking a light meal, so I'll certainly be back to try more proteins (like Soft Shell Crab or Shrimp) and sauces (like Baby-Racha or even Monster-Racha)! ^o^
整体来说是我喜欢的食物,就是那个鱼肉太咸了,以后再吃的话我可能不会再选鱼肉。
It tastes superb that both of us really enjoyed it. Both of us choose White Rice, Cucumber, Cherry Tomato, Crabstick, Salmon, Spicy Mayo, Ebiko, Seaweed and Chilli Flakes. The small drawback is that the portion is too small even for a small later like me that I have to hunt for supper later on. Poke Bowl @ RM 18
If you haven't already known, poke is a famous Hawaiian cuisine which could be served both as an appetiser or as a main course. It is essentially a raw fish salad and for that reason, I'd been associating it with Japanese cuisine (think salmon don) for the longest time. But the truth is, they are not exactly the same. The number of pokebowl food stalls in KL/Klang Valley had been growing like mushrooms after the rain. With everyone trying to jump on the healthy lifestyle bandwagon, it's almost natural that this healthy eating phenomenon is taking over the f&b industries. Although there are a handful of popular pokebowl places that I know, I'm gonna tell you exactly why Pokebear has been my ultimate favourite.
For base we have choices like white rice, brown rice and salad. You can choose as many top it off as you like, I go for ebiko, seaweed, seaweed flakes, ginger, sesame seeds, spring onions, and wasabi.
