Food at Rubato is modern Italian cuisine, with a balanced meat and plant-based menu. They use quality premium ingredients, and execute each dish perfectly and consistently, a testament to the skill of the kitchen. In fact, dining at Rubato has been among the most memorable meals of the year for me.
The chocolate fondant took quite a while to arrive, and we got a complimentary pistachio gelato. Wow, that's a nice gesture. It warmed our hearts.
Though the price may be steep, I find it worthwhile to splurge once in a while for quality and delicious Italian food with good service.
They are located at Chu Lin road which is around the Hillview Ave area. They are an Italian restaurant serving a variety of Italian dishes such as pasta, risotto, pizza, etc.
iO Italian Osteria is not that far away, but I'm happy to eat here again. Being such a cozy neighborhood place, the service was warm and fast.
The quality was decent, the service was fast, and the prices weren't as outrageous as they could've been.
Al Borgo Italian Restaurant is tucked away in Alocassia Apartments on Bukit Timah Road. They serve authentic, hearty Italian dishes with the quintessential warm Italian hospitality in a comfortable & cozy setting.
Italian Restaurant that is worth your try
Overall, the food was within expectation. I do not mind making a return visit for its other home-style Italian dishes.
lamb shank very good..I will cook this.
Garganelli was awesome.
TBH, AMANO ITALIAN RISTORANTE is quite inaccessible and is located Namly pl. It is considered a hidden gem in the Bukit Timah area.
Dessert at dinner was Warm Lava Cake ($12 each). The warm molten chocolate cake with vanilla gelato and fresh berries brought our meal at Amano Italian restaurant in Bukit Timah to a sweet end.
Amano apparently means βby handβ in Italian. Situated next to Puppy Colours (a dog training school), Amano Italian restaurant occupies the space of a previous Italian restaurant β the former Namly outlet of La Nonna which currently has an outlet at Holland Village.
12 reviews of Peperoni Pizzeria "Love the firewood pizza its fantastic also love their xl pizza perfect for a party. Not forgetting the coffee :) Best to call in a make a booking for the weekend"
We left the restaurant with our stomachs filled to the brim with good food. The price was slightly on on the high side but like I said, every single dish was good or fantastic. We also saw many families having dinner here. There were papers and crayons on the tables for children to doodle while adults engaged in conversations. Overall, the place had great atmosphere and ambience. We strongly advise making reservations to avoid disappointment. Evans and I really like this place and its food and we will definitely be coming back for their XXL pizza the next time round!
La Braceria Italian Restaurant Review with pictures of menu, dining room and outdoor space, margherita pizza, eggplant, linguine with crab ...
Spizza is having a 1-for-1 pizza/pasta promotion for takeaway orders at their three outlets in Singapore (Bukit Timah, Jalan Kayu and Havelock).
Caruso Italian Restaurant is an Italian restaurant located at Bukit Timah road near Sixth Avenue. They have been around since Aug 2013. I haven't been to Italy myself, but they serve authentic Italian food, particularly from a region called Puglia.
We ordered Spinach Tagliatelle with Mare E Monti Sauce β Crabmeat and Button Mushrooms with White Wine and Pink Sauce. The pasta was nice and flavorful for sure! It was quite enjoyable.
Overall, the meal at Madrinaa was slightly lacklustre and nothing too outstanding to make an impression. The service was attentive as we were the only ones in the restaurant during lunch. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt that their pizza might be the better menu since that is the speciality as per their website
I had a cup of latte with a gorgeous latte art. Coffee was creamy and served its purpose. Pasta was Al Dente and it was drenched in rich creamy carbonara sauce! I love it!
Not many places sell pappardelle and I'm still searching for a better one but as a whole, the dining experience was not too bad. I don't mind making a return trip here.
Dessert was wonderful!
That beef and truffle sauce had a profile like Marmite but with less saltiness and a truffle-y undertone. Nice one this.
The Ciabatta ($6.90 for second serving) was excellent, fluffy and fragrant and absolutely delicious.
Overall, the service was perfectly paced so we had ample time to savour every dish before the next one came. Food was good and some dishes were simply spectacular. I really enjoyed the Beef Cheek, Lamb Rack and Truffled Pappardelle.
I really enjoyed my lunch and would definitely want to return for dinner with my other half as he loves Italian food.
Iβm not sure I agree that itβs the best restaurant in Singapore, but thereβs certainly some fire behind that smoke.
The ever-dependable Chocolate Lava cake might score low on the Creativity Scorecard, but it is right at home at Donna Carmela. Plus when done well, you can't help but sink your spoon in for more than your fair share.
Apart from this nice gesture, overall service was also good, e.g. messy plates were changed without request.
