Uroko, a quality Japanese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur has a lovely designed space and delicious Japanese comfort food, located in the heart of Subang Jaya.
Will I be back? Definitely. And I'd definitely want to try out their other dishes as well. And order extra chicken oil next time!
Ajitama Ramen (Rm 20.50) Comes with toppings such as spinach, quail egg, a piece of chashu, large crispy nori (seaweed) and ajitama in shio base or shoyu base soup. I had mine in soy sauce base soup and all in normal percentage (as a first timer). The broth was really something I love, rich, milky and creamy, dosed with that great amount of chicken oil. On the first sip, it was filled with chicken oil aroma, very aromatic; also taste like you were having chicken essence too.
Overall, with the vege, seaweed, egg, and everything else, the ramen was as good as any I’ve tasted, well balanced and certainly delicious.

One of the things high on our "To Eat" list after we got back from our holidays was Japanese food. And so, we kicked it off with an all-you-can-eat Japanese buffet at Kogetsu Japanese Restaurant in The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur last weekend. Priced at RM145 per person, diners can indulge in a wide variety of Japanese cuisine, including fresh sashimi, sushi, teppanyaki, tempura, grilled meats, deep fried dishes, simmer dishes, soups, noodles and desserts. An added bonus is that kids below the age of 12 can eat for FREE!
Spicy Mayo Salmon Rice Burger @ RM14.90 I personally prefer the Spicy Mayo Salmon because of its tangy flavours with hints of spiciness in every bite on the palate. But be careful, as this can be a little messy when you eat :P Look at the generous amount of chunky salmon drenched in sweet and sour sauce - I love it!
Wait! Don't forget to try out their Sushi burger too Oh accompaniment with their signature boba milk tea and winter melon rocksalt cheese.
If you are looking for new and unique Japanese food at Central i-City, please visit I Say Yatta Central i-City. We enjoyed their food and drinks and their price is reasonable especially for rice burger lovers.
What do We Like about Sushi Jiro? -Affordable sushi at RM3.68 per plate -Good selection of sushi to choose from and good service too

Chicken Curry Katsu Don RM 14.31 The portion was really small yet at a price range of RM 15 is pretty expensive for a bowl of katsu curry chicken.Anyway let kick start the taste first which is sadly bland like no taste still I have to personally add in more spices to enlighten things up . Served in a mini bowl of rice with deep fried chicken and Katsu curry sauce placed on topping with chop potatoes

ABURI SALMON BOWL (RM 19.80) Flame-grilled salmon drizzled with Japanese mayonnaise and served with wasabi paste and rice. This was the winner of the day! Aburi salmon isn’t commonly served in Malaysia. It was served last by Sushi Tei as a seonal item last year and I ordered at least 5 times from them. If this ain’t fate, I don’t know what fate is. Aburi Salmon pop out in front of me again, and you guessed right. I didn’t even waste any of them. I mean look at the salmon, the portion was generous, but the price still stays below RM20! AWESOME!
