Hototogisu's CHIJMES outlet is running this coconut ramen right now.
Here's the paitan version of Hototogisu's oyster ramen at Great World (yes, I'm still doing post-circuitbreaker ramen). I've had this several times before, and in fact seem to keep forgetting that I liked the shio version better. I cleared this bowl quickly, but next time, I'll get the shio.
It was a pleasant experience in Tatsu for Teppanyaki and I do not mind splurging some money for occasions to enjoy a good meal like this.
I personally find this a good change for Hanazen as compared to the menu when it just opened early this year. The prices are also slightly more accessible as compared to its opening menu, and if you love seafood and meats, this should be an omakase menu you will enjoy.
While Hanazen received mixed reviews during its initial openings, this new menu introduces a refreshing and delightful difference that is worth exploring. If Omakase is not your cup of tea, a la carte menu is available too. Overall dining experience was great.
