The ramen noodle of SoloMen deserves a special mention as it was perfectly done. The ramen texture was al-dente, springy and firm
My order: ChaHan set (fried rice) with miso soup, 3 gyoza and a cup of hot green tea at MYR 13.70 nett. I kept half the rice and two gyoza for dinner and finished drinking all the miso soup and hot green tea.
Earl Grey Mojito RM7.90 This drink also came highly recommended by the barista and I can clearly see why. This alcohol-free drink is absolutely refreshing! The earl grey tea added a crisp flavour to the traditional mojito! Underneath the minty citrus blend, the drink ended with a creamy base note of early grey which lingers for a bit. Quite an interesting adventure for the taste bud, but definitely a good one.
[Muslim-friendly] Aftermeal Desserts offer lovely shaved iced desserts (kakigori). We enjoyed the milk tea and grass jelly versions.
What do We Like about Shin Zushi SS 2? -The variety of set lunch available for us to choose
Probably one of the more affordable Japanese restaurants in town. 3pcs of the サケ腹 Taro Salmon is at rm$7.90 and not bad!
Other than their soft buns, Komugi is well-known for their much-sought-after signature Japanese chewy bread such as Baguette, Cranberry Paneo, Multigrain and much more.
Overall, Niju Coffee Hub is to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing coffee shop in SS2, PJ. Whether you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a place to chill, you’ll definitely feel at home here.
Overall, we had quite a lovely meal. I was rather pleased with my Beef Rice Bowl.
It takes a while to get our dessert and I was shocked to see a tiny portion of Melon Kakigori. For the price I paid RM 26, I was expecting something value for money. Besides that, melon taste so-so for us. The melon was not sweet while the ice was way too sweet that we left it untouched after finishing ½ of the bowl.
