Buranchi chazuke (RM 18) seems to be upgraded with more ingredients, and tastes better than before. Omu & friends (RM 23) is a nice and hearty breakfast set. Tried honey coffee (RM 10) for the first..
Sunny side sandwich for RM 9 is good value for money. The big breakfast combo does offer many variety for those who want to try a bit of everything.
Trying a more premium breakfast and pork bun, still nice and satisfying.
This place has gotten very busy, and the food is good as usual.
Delicious and satisfying food.
Tasty and value lunch set.
About RM 10 for a plate of pork meat, Ramen also RM 10. Taste wise pretty alright, good value.
Among all, our favourite was the Ribeye Beef as it was marinated and can be enjoyed medium. If beef isn’t your favourite type of meat or can’t have it due to religious obligation, you can opt for the Pork Belly.
This halal ramen is actually good.
A couple of months ago, I wrote about Ramen Seirock-Ya, an up-and-coming halal ramen chain that specialises in toripaitan (chicken ramen) – and how it might just be the best halal ramen that I’ve tasted. Well, my opinion hasn’t changed – but this time, I’ve made a vlog about it. And in Malay, no less!
The noodles are good – well cooked, al dente and springy – but the broth is the real star here. After being boiled for hours, the flavour of the meat is condensed into the lip-smacking broth, and the taste is further accentuated by fried shallots and spring onions. Despite the amount of oil swimming on the surface, it does not taste greasy at all.
The Steed Pork 控肉饭 Set with side dishes (RM 16.50) is fairly tasty, just the pork could be softer. The Pork Ramen (RM 16.50) is decent.
Decent Taiwanese food, but I don't really fancy them.
I had meesuah (Flour vermicilli) with all the trimmings – oyster, pork and innards (RM10). Meesuah is another popular dish in Taiwan, where they serve it without chopsticks, as the slippery smooth noodles in a broth can be eaten purely with a spoon. The version here was decent, although the pork was tasteless and had an odd jelly-like quality to it, while the innards were a tad too sweet.
We given the menu of sushi choices; blue - RM1.70 and red - RM2.70. My favorite sushi are Salmon Mentai and Egg Mayo. Everytime, I must choose Salmon Mentai when I went to any sushi restaurant because I fall love in the salmon so very much!
Sushi Mentai is a good choice for those who are on a budget. At least it’ll tide you over until pay day, when you can go to pricier establishments like Ippudo.
With reference to this special menu, I am sampling the "いなりいなり明太 Inari Tuna Mayo Mentai" which slightly burned tofu stuffed with a load of tuna and mayonnaise, very interesting!
Verdict: 1. Personally, I find that the dishes here are up to standard and worth the price. 2. Reasons to visit: Good quality Japanese dishes, cosy ambiance and good service. 3. Recommended: Uni Tofu Nabe
Another hot favourite of mine was Avocado Truffle Miso Gratin that’s served in an open avocado shell filled with seafood, avocado, and chicken truffle creamy gratin with spicy bean paste. A truly tantalizing dish with amazing flavours and each creamy scoop practically melts in my mouth. Another ‘Must Try’ dish!
I was having a great time with friends at Tsuki No Miyako, definitely fulled and satisfied. *Just look at my face :p - now smiling in front of the computer, typing this... recalling the taste - #no-lies* If you like Japanese cuisine, it definitely worth to try, good price with tasty food, who wants to miss it?
Featuring a rotary sushi bar where fresh sushi items are brought to your table by their unique refrigerated conveyor belt system. They have launched a new menu, serving a wide and different variety of Japanese cuisine and even set meals.
If you have a yen for sushi, this lovely platter of TAKE Sushi Moriawase is bound to win you over with its delectable morsel of hand pressed sushi. The attractive and colourful platter comes in an assortment of Chef's selected 12 pieces of Nigiri sushi and 1 roll of Maki.
Among all sashimi, I love amaebi (sweet shrimp) and salmon belly the most! But it is very costly when i order amaebi at some of my favourite Japanese restaurant, it cost over RM70 per plate for 5 pieces only. So, i am strongly recommend Iso Moriawase to you. RM73 for 7 types of sashimi, means that only RM10 for 1 type of sashimi, Obviously worth the money!!! Some more their amaebi is so fresh and nice!
the salmon was so good so we decided to order them AGAIN we ordered them from individually from the sashimi menu but they came in this beautiful platter so IG-able!!
Simple and nice Japanese food.
Good varieties of Japanese and some local food.
This month's promotion is 15% off cold ramen and soy chicken with rice. Tasty, simple and affordable.
Overall the flavour was pretty good, although I still prefer the one from Gangnam 88. For RM20.90 per set, the price was reasonable but I wished they had more ingredients instead of just a few pieces of fishballs/crabsticks, and less cabbage.
One of the must-tries here in my opinion is the inari with tempura shrimp. Each plate comes with one piece only, but this is the most addictive shit you’ll ever come across. The shrimp is sizable and not just from the batter, it’s crispy, and there are fried flour bits thrown into the sweet inari as well to lend it texture. Couple it with the sushi rice underneath and a smattering of Jap mayo and salty fish roe on top, and you have a recipe for success. I can eat 5 of these in one go lol.
All in all, it was a good dining experience here. Tasty foods, great ambiance and reasonably priced. Do note that most of the a la carte food items could easily be shared among 2 to 3 persons.
We decided to try the Sashimi Set, comes with a good selections of very fresh sashimi, rice, soup, salad, fruits and not forgetting chawan mushi. Indeed a good recommended selections.
Worth a try if you fancy Japanese yakitori, some hit and misses.
I ordered their signature beef bowl aka Spicy Ontama Gyudon, which came with a generous serving of thinly sliced beef over rice. For its price, the beef quality was good, although I don’t know where ‘spicy’ came in because it had zero spiciness. Nice ratio of onions. The onsen egg was served separately. Added on a ‘set’ with a side of chicken gyoza, miso soup and tea, for mum, coz she eats like a bird.
New Japanese place. Hit and misses, don't think will be coming back.
Strawberry Cheesecake Kakigori is made up of milk ice, fresh strawberry, cheesecake cracker crumbs, whipping cream and strawberry purée. Actually the price of RM21 is high for a bowl of dessert, but since it is a big bowl, of course we can share it out among 2-3 pax. There are free sky juice where you have to take it yourself. The way to order is to go to the counter first, give your order, pay, then go and take it from the counter yourself when it is ready. It is a self service cafe.
Mango Yogurt Kakigori - RM21 Hmm....full of delicious creamy mango puree on top of fine shaved ice. It is made up of yogurt ice, fresh mango and mango puree. As a mango addict, I was delirious to see they provide a small bowl of extra mango puree! This is what I like best, as I can never get enough of mango and always want more, more, more, hehe.
Since we were still full from our lunch at Lim Fried Chicken, we ordered only the best seller – Melon Kakigori. Halved melon, hollowed and filled with melon shaved iced, beautifully laced with freshly scopped melon balls. Undoubtedly pretty for Instagram and Facebook photos, but taste wise, personally, doesn’t up to our liking. Shaved ice was overly sweet, but luckily the melon itself falls on non-sweet version, scores on juicy crunch, just right to balance up the entire sweetness.
New Japanese ramen place at Puchong IOI rio. Worth a try, but I am not craving it.
