I would definitely recommend anyone working in this area to check it out or even bring your family here for a quiet dinner in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays!
  • 2015-04-01 00:00:00+00:00
It's been a while since i've been to fill-a-pita- happy to find that their pitas are still as good.
  • 2014-08-13 00:00:00+00:00
Definitely one for a quick bite to eat (although they do make everything fresh so you’ll need to wait a few minutes for your pita). Customer service was excellent and even when I took my tray back they remembered my name after I’d used it to order.

Punjab Grill is the premier award winning restaurant established by famed Indian chef Jiggs Kalra. It showcases signature dishes from Punjab and other classic favourites from traditional Indian recipes.

  • 2017-04-05 00:00:00+00:00
I am glad that my first experience with Punjabi cuisine is at Punjab Grill; it may be my first but it won’t be my last! As the flavours at Punjab Grill are not overly spicy, the food here will suit a large array of palates.
  • 2015-11-10 00:00:00+00:00
Service overall was professional and polite, being able to explain the dishes with clarity, though they could look short-handed at times. A worthy try if you are keen to experience higher end Indian dining in Singapore.
  • 2015-09-24 00:00:00+00:00
Simply said, I am impressed with Punjab Grill. The range of dishes presented for the lunch was excellent, and a certain level of finesse was apparent in the grills, combination of ingredients and the ability to bring out depths in flavour. - See more at:

Al-Diafah Restaurant

45, Jalan Radin Anum, Sri Petaling, 57000 Kuala Lumpur

  • 2013-08-13 00:00:00+00:00
They served 2 types of soup, Lamb & Oatmeal soup and Lentil Soup. Personally, I preferred the Lamb & Oatmeal soup, very rich and creamy! It goes absolutely well with the Arab Bun … yum!
  • 2013-07-10 00:00:00+00:00
Lamb mendy was next up.The lamb is actually hidden under the briyani rice. Portion is huge enough for sharing of two person. The lamb mendy is very good and we actually wiped everything off in 15 mins. The briyani cooked with butter is fluffy and aromatic with a hint of lamb smell. The lamb is tender and juicy. This is a must try dish for all lamb lovers. It costs us RM35 for this dish and we will definitely come back for it.
  • 2010-09-01 00:00:00+00:00
The dish I enjoyed most was this Al Diafah rice (beriyani) with the 1/4 size BBQ chicken. Both rice and chicken were equally tasty. The beriyani was not too oily, and each came with a fragrant taste.

  • 2017-01-25 00:00:00+00:00
Try Yemeni cuisine at least once and you will be surprise at how good the cuisine is. Al Nafoura is a great choice to try the cuisine as the Rahim has really nailed the flavours well. Dishes are affordable and prepared very well. Al Nafoura also does catering for private parties. It may be my first time trying Yemeni cuisine but it will certainly not be my last as Al Nafoura has really left a delicious experience of Yemeni cuisine for me.

  • 2017-04-25 00:00:00+00:00
still, i'm glad to have checked it off my to-try list, and the food was good enough that we left satisfied.
  • 2017-03-29 00:00:00+00:00
We really enjoyed the kebabs ($8++ each) and would probably have ordered more of those given their fairly small size.
  • 2016-12-11 00:00:00+00:00
Fat Prince is one with hate and love factor. We like some of the food but hate the noisy vibes. We love the decor but hate the idea of having only 1 dessert choice.

Here's the location.
  • 2019-01-07 00:00:00+00:00
Chicken Maklouba (RM 25) here is delicious. The rice is fluffy and light, rendering a very delicious taste. It comes with a big portion of chicken and some eggplants. Though the chicken is flavourful, we felt it was a tad too try for our liking. It comes with a bowl of chili sauce but we feel the sauce somehow mask the natural fragrance of the dish. It has been some time since we have a plate of delicious Middle East rice.

Carnivores would be excited to see the Halab Mix Grills... a platter with a variety of Meat and Seafood including Lamb, Chicken, Prawns and some greens. All the meats were beautifully seasoned and cooked... perfectly tender and palatable

We have the occasional 'Middle Eastern' restaurant, encompassing food from all of the Middle East, which is a bit like having Singaporean and Thai food lumped under the umbrella of 'Asian restaurant', but I digress.
  • 2017-02-10 00:00:00+00:00
Shabestan has a fancy looking dough/doogh.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. Ordered the sayadiyah fish dish and taste quite good. Whole pompret with fish pieces and rice in one dish. The rice cooked with fish broth adds the flavour to the dish. The appetizer of fattah hummus that we ordered is unexpected large with lots of chickpea and tahini mixed with yogurt, garlic and fried bread. Taste quite unique but good).

Chicken Mandy (half chicken), 26 ringgit This was da bomb! It was very good. Oooo man, I got to start with the chicken. The reason I ordered half a chicken rather than the other available option – Quater, was because based on my experience with many other eateries, most of the time, the chicken pieces offered are usually little or smaller in size. So, just to be on the safe side, I opted for half a chicken. When it arrived though, Wowza! when these folks say ‘half a chicken’ then they would deliver exactly that because it literally was a whole piece of half a chicken. Then, when I started cutting into it – the meat was sooooooo tender that it literally fell of the bone. There was no hardship at all, no having to ‘fight’ and ‘wrestle’ with the meat to break it apart. It tasted equally as awesome. There wasn’t as much flavor on the meat as it did on the rice but whatever flavor there was + plus the naturally feel of being baked – simply awesome! Having the chicken with the rice though …. heavenly. That is all there is to say 🙂

Their Mixed Grill usually comes with Beef too and so if you're one who does not eat Beef, do let them know and they would substitute it with more Chicken. I felt that these were really good and they came with some French Fries and Arabic Bread. The bread was so soft and nice and both the Lamb and Chicken were heavenly. I would definitely rate this at 9/10.

The meticulous interior design, exotic decoration and extensive list of menu (ranging from soups, appetizers, right down to main courses and desserts) to sample and choose from will undoubtedly make your meal an awesome experience and an unforgettable one…

Both of us shared this dish - Shakriya Lamb at MYR 37++ (10% service charge, 6% SST = MYR 42.92 nett) - Lamb Shank cooked in herbs, yogurt and served with rice. The roasted almonds are crunchy and go well with the rice and savoury yogurt. The lamb shank is huge and has a lot of tender fresh meat with the nice lamb taste. We did not expect to like the savoury yogurt but we were blown away when we ate it, we like it a lot - it is not too thick and not too diluted, it smells strongly of milk but not cloying. We consider it light without being foamy and is robust enough in taste and texture.

Kebab Bowl - IOI City Mall Restaurant

LG-34, IOI City Mall 62502 Putrajaya Malaysia

At Kebab Bowl we serve you fresh, authentic Middle Eastern styled kebabs. One bite of the savoury chicken, lamb or beef chunks, in a bowl of steaming long-grained yellow rice, drizzled generously with an iconic secret red and white sauce.

  • 2018-10-10 00:00:00+00:00
As a first-timer here in Kebab Bowl, we took the “Lamb Bowl” (chicken was out of order sadly) RM11.90 – serves with spiced rice, tomato, cabbage, falafel wraps and spiced lamb chunks. Overall taste was considered “okay” for the price we are paying, quite disappointed with the lamb was being pan-seared (tastes like pre-spiced lamb from Jaya/Village grocer) instead of being fresh cut from a “Shawarma Grill” (we saw they own it but never seen them use it).
