TRAIL INFO ~ Trans Naning Trailhead via Gunung Datuk Recreational Park ~ Difficulty Level - difficult ~ Distance - 22km (one way) ~ Elevation Gain less than 1900m ~ Entrance fees - RM5 - pay at Gunung Datuk Recreational Park
Rating Medium to Hard. The hike up and down Gunung Datuk is the biggest challenge as it is steep and technical particularly in the beginning/end, so keep some fuel in the tank for the clamber down. In comparison hiking to Y junction and the two peaks adds mileage to the total journey but not much elevation. Tip Pack food and treats. This is a long hike and you will get hungry.
While Gunung Datuk in Malaysia may not be high (855m) it does offer a spectacular sunrise and superb views over the peninsular and Straits of Malacca. Join R...
Located at the tail end of Titiwangsa Range, Gunung Besar Hantu is the highest mountain in Negeri Sembilan with the height of 1462m (4797 ft). Dubbed the Titiwangsa Arch, the mountain marks the border between Pahang and Negeri Sembilan. During the Malayan Emergency (Zaman Darurat), the communists were believed to have used a ‘rat trail’ at the foot of the mountain to sneak between the two states. One can trek on foot through this jungle trail from Jelebu in Negeri Sembilan to Janda Baik in the Pahang in about two days’ time.

Date: 29 September 2019 (Late Entry) Tempat: Gunung Angsi via Bukit Putus Starting Point: Bukit Putus Ketinggian: 825m / 2707 ft Tahap Kesukaran: Easy - Moderate Distance: Mungkin dalam 7KM. Hahaha.
Jangan pandai-pandai ikut jalan lain ye. Ikut jalan lain, kalau sesat sila salahkan diri sendiri.
Kepayang Hill or Bukit Kepayang is a small hill area (205 meter above sea level) in Seremban, next to another hiking spot which is Bukit Bal. Even though it is just a small area, exploring all the subtrails here could take hours with high elevation gain due to going up and down the small hill.
🌟 TRAIL INFO ~ Bukit Kepayang Trailhead via Seremban S2 Hill Park GPS : 2.712080801252823, 101.89558020626761 ~ Difficulty Level - moderate ~ Distance - 11km (return) ~ Elevation Gain 600M ~ Entrance fees - No for the time being
Kepayang Hill with the height of 218 meter located in Taman Bukit Kepayang, Seremban. It is one of the famous local hiking place which usually takes 10~30 minutes to the peak with 360 degree great view of Seremban and S2 area. Thanks for the Kepayang Hill Committee with their great work for maintaining and developing the trails.
Gunung Angsi is probably the second most popular mountain in Negeri Sembilan, if Gunung Datuk takes the first spot. Mount Angsi is an easy to moderate hike suitable for casual hikers and fit beginners, that is if you take the Bukit Putus route. The least popular Ulu Bendul route is certainly more difficult than the crowd’s favorite Bukit Putus route.
Rigger Hill located in Bukit Putus next to Gunung Angsi Negeri Sembilan with the height of 560.5 meter a.s.l. I came across to know this mountain two years back before the first MCO. Knowing that beside Ulu Bendol and Bukit Putus trails, there are two more trails could link up to Gunung Angsi peak as well. Rigger hill is one of it which link up to Bukit Putus trail signboard (18 minutes to go).
Bukit Bal is located in Labu, Negeri Sembilan, right beside Seremban and the more popular Bukit Kepayang. It is a less known area to hike, though it gained popularity for the Grand Canyon, Green Lake, and Twin Trees. There is another point of interest, which is the Tortoise Rock many hikers couldn’t seem to find. This guide will present the optimal routes and junctions to reach these checkpoints.
Bukit Bal and Bukit Ebang located behind S2 Height with the height of 260 a.s.l. There are few entrances to access depends on which landmark would you like to visit first. Common entrance is start from S2 Height next of Rimbun Irama, you might start from Kg. Sebir asli settlement, Labu Batu 8 or Jalan Bukit Nenas as well.
Rating Easy. Best for Hikers from Seremban and the southern regions of Selangor. Do take care when hiking close to the edge of the quarry.
Rating Easy. Trek 3 is the steepest of the 3 tracks but is short. If that doesn’t appeal, try the longer but more gradual inclines of Trek 1 and Trek 2. Best for Beginner hikers, photo opportunists, families and exercise enthusiasts who live nearby.
It happened in 2020. I was on my first hike with Trailblazer Hiking Club. We were at Gunung Gagak, celebrating our arrival at the turnaround point of Negeri Sembilan’s famed Yam Tuan Antah trail when I realised that on the other side of a dense tangle of lianas lay an onward trail. Traversing streams, several peaks and ending at Bukit Tampin on the border of Melaka, this was Trans Naning and I wanted to do it.
Catching the sea of clouds at the peak of Bukit Senaling is a game of determination and luck. The determination part is to wake up early, to start the hike in the dark. This is because the sea of clouds is the thickest and the lowest during early morning. As the temperature rises and the sun hits the clouds, they will rise higher and get thinner. This is the same reason to catch the magnificent view of Mount Kinabalu early in the morning, when the clouds are below the mountain, and would be covering the view later in the day.
Bukit Bintongan located in Kampung Bintongan near Rembau Negeri Sembilan with the height of 842 meter a.s.l. I came across to know this mountain last year because of THCM group were trying to open a trail from Bukit Bintongan to Gunung Pasir. Credit to those group who's reopen this Bintongan trail recently.

The trail is clear with marking leading you to the Bukit Temiang peak. The are many junctions in between and you got to know your direction well or go with GPS trail for reference. From Bukit Temiang to Bukit Simpang it tooks us approx. 35 minutes
Bukit Batu Elam located in Kampung Parit Gong near Pertang Negeri Sembilan with the height of 770 meter a.s.l. The starting point from the rubber estate near the Asli village, we met the asli guide Kana half way ascent, he provides the guide service and maintain the trail condition, usually hikers would contact him before hike.
