The most popular park in Puchong. It has a lake, basketball court, futsal court, playground and a fairly long jogging trail. At the right season, the lake (o...
Love this recreation park. It has basketball, futsal, exercise facilities, children playground and of course the well keep toilet. Good place to have your fa...
Water lilies season.
Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam (National Botanical Gardens) is one of Selangor and Malaysia’s top destinations for eco/agrotourism.
Lagipun harga tiket masuknya sangatlah murah.
Inside the beautiful Shah Alam National Botanical Park are the challenging Bukit Sapu Tangan, the beautiful Animal Park, and many other smaller gardens such as the Cactus Garden, Tropical Fruits Garden and more!
Hike Bukit Kiara from Mont Kiara side.
This hill trail is huge, and easy to get lost if are you first time here. Use a hiking map App. There are a few main attractions: the big rock, bamboo forest, city view, angkor wat. We didn't go to..
The KL Bird Park is located in the heart of the serene and scenic KL Lake Gardens barely 10 minutes’ drive from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur… It is home to more than 3,000 local and foreign birds of approximately 200 different species…
Bukit Gasing and Taman Rimba Kerinchi is basically the same forest, where prior one is in Petaling Jaya and later one in Kuala Lumpur. Sadly the car park is closed on public holiday, so we have to..
Gelak-gelak member dengar.
Suitable for city-bound hikers and nature lovers of all experiences and ages, Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi gets my vote as KL’s answer to New York’s Central Park.
Taman Saujana Hijau is located in Precinct 11 Putrajaya, comprising a hilly area that's been landscaped beautifully. Entrance to the park is free and you're bound to be blown away by what you find at this public garden that stretches out over 47 hectares of land.
Used to the unkempt wilderness of jungle trails, Taman Saujana Hijau’s manicured gardens and concrete jogging path never appealed to me. But, it seemed ridiculous that I had travelled to the most southerly point in Continental Asia and Malaysia’s most northerly state, yet had not explored my own backyard. So in December of last year, I satisfied my curiosity.
Explore the tranquility of the Taman Tugu trail, nestled beside Tugu Negara / National Monument in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Perfect for those seeking an escape from indoor monotony during the pandemic, this 6km forest trail is open to the public daily, from 7 am to 6:30 pm – and it's absolutely free!
The Orange Trail in Taman Tugu is the newest addition to the park’s hiking trail network. It adds an extra 1.2 kilometres and snakes around the once-empty eastern part of Taman Tugu. This trail is a low-to-medium intensity hike with a fair amount of uphill near the end.
If you’re planning to walk several trails within Taman Tugu, the Nursery Trail is a good warm-up or cool down hike. This very short trail is low-intensity and marked in blue on park maps. It is only 1 kilometre and will take less than thirty minutes.
It's round and slopes down. A star-shaped water fountain sits in the center. I was here to warm up my rusty muscles before the Guardian Walkathon.
Bukit Jalil Park (Taman Rekreasi Bukit Jalil) is a popular recreational park in the southern suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, about 20km from the city centre.
Located some 20km from the city centre, the 80-hectare park is nicely landscaped, with jogging paths, equipment for exercising, picnic spots and ponds filled with catfish amidst lush greenery. If you’re lucky, you might even run into the small local wildlife, such as monkeys, cranes and monitor lizards!
Putrajaya Wetlands Park is certainly a great place to reconnect with nature together with your family and friends. Don’t wait, there’s a whole ecosystem of diverse flora and fauna for you to explore!
Enjoy some rainforest nature and Kuala Lumpur city view at KL Forest Eco Park! The KL Forest Eco Park is located at the heart of the city next to the KL Towe...
A nice hiking trail in the middle of the city. The is a short NCP trail, can be completed in 20 minutes. There is a much longer CP which takes 2 hours, but with many shortcuts to shorten the trail...
Once the site of government homes and then an unofficial landfill, Taman Tugu was saved from commercial developers who probably wanted to put another crappy mall on the spot. Instead, it was converted to a 66-acre public park and conservation site with over 5 kilometres of trails.
What we thought would be an easy, hour-long walk turned into a two-hour excursion—but not an unpleasant one. If you cycle or jog, this is a great place to workout, soak in the sights, and breathe in the fresh air. I think it’s wonderful that we have such nice parks right in the middle of the city that offer a respite from the concrete jungle.
KDCF’s trails are well maintained by KDCF society’s volunteers and partners such as MyChangkul and Temuan Orang Asli Community. Thus, the forest trails are very nice and enjoyable by hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers alike. The paths are relatively easy and flat. The most difficult parts are only the steep trails near Tiga Puteri Peak.
When you are in the forest and suddenly you see a wild boar, what would you do? When we encounter wild animals like this, our first action is to stop, slowly step back and to avoid them. But have you ever thought of hiking carefreely while wild boars are passing by and roaming freely around you? Ketumbar Hill is the place to experience this.
Morning cycling around the Perdana Lake, Cyberyjaya.
Sometimes you need a nudge to explore, even when it’s somewhere nearby. Just one town away, it was on Jeannie’s invite that I drove to Taman Tasik Cyberjaya and explored this scenic lakeside park in Malaysia’s answer to Silicon Valley.
The equestrian park visit started with a stable tour. Upon entering, we saw some horses having evening bath by the staff. We had been told that Tun M has 7 horses here. The equestrian has 14 horses by their own which offers public for joyriding for a minimum fee of RM15 for adult and RM10 for a kid.
Cheras is a good district to find hiking spots, there are the well known Saga Hill, Apek Trails, Ketumbar Hill, and also the less known Bukit Besi, which sometimes residents around the area don’t know about. The name (Besi = Iron) comes from the neighboring Sungai Besi which was a historical mining town.
Cycling uphill after not cycling for such a long time was really sweat-breaking and heart-racing, man! hahaha Thankfully, my bicycle had a working gear which I can switch in order to ease my cycling uphill. Phew! No doubt, the guys had better stamina and reached the top in the blink of an eye.
Initially we wish to rent a bike in the city and cycled around Putrajaya, but we really lack of information where can we get the bike, so we changed our mind to Botanical Garden ( was a good choice actually, Putrajaya city was just too hot for a cycling in the morning, but suitable for a night cycling)
