Allow spice master and culinary maestro Yogesh Upadhyay a.k.a. Chef Yogi take you on a whirlwind tour of India, culturally and gastronomically at Flour.
An old bungalow has been given an updated elegant demeanour as Flourโs new abode after its former Hartamas abode. We had the Parivartan Evolution part 2 menu, a culinary passage thru India, guided by Chef Yogi who hails from Rajasthan. He offered a world-view of Indian cuisine, not just as we know it โ consisting of just Indian breads, butter chicken and predictable curries, but expanded across the continent, showcasing inspired dishes from different states. And what a journey it was!
For those who enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend visiting Flour if you haven't done so already. You may no longer be able to try Aarrambh, as that chapter is now closed. However, you still have the chance to experience Parivartan, where the restaurant's dextrous breaking of the rules of Indian cooking without disrespecting the foundations laid before since the dawn of the civilisation is itself worth your money and time.
The Dum Chicken Biryani is a must to try here. In here, you can enjoy the tender pieces of chicken dum which is cooked in flavourful basmati rice and mixed them with the mint yogurt stock, caramelized onion and strands of saffron served with the special raita. The dish is absolutely delicious and the chicken meats remains chunky and juicy too.
Panner Tikka Masala was damn good. For me, there's something about the Tikka Masala that just makes it such an addictive dish. The lovely vibrant colored sauce with bits of paneer is just pure heaven
Reasons to order from Sagar Restaurant: fresh, flavourful northern Indian cuisine; must order the Palak Paneer, Pudina Gobi Chatpati, Murg Makhanwala and Harabara Kebabs.
We had both Plain Naan and Pudina Parontha; the former one had crispy edges and fluffy middle... though not as fluffy as we would have hoped, the delightful burnt aroma was bold and we thought the thin flat bread worked pretty well with their Yogurt dip.
Food was yummy, yawwwww. I can see why Havelly is pretty highly rated. The briyani was yummy, The rice was moist โ just the way I like it, there was plenty of flavor and a generous amount of chicken. Rather than a big chuck on meat stuffed into the rice, the chicken here were chopped and served in small pieces. The dish also came with a side of indian yogurt โ Mooru and a gravy. Both were an awesome addition to the dishes, added a difference in texture and taste.
Garlic Cheese Naan, 9.50 ringgit. The Garlic Cheese Naan was good. I liked it. Every mouth you take, the taste of cheese and garlic was evident. More often than not, lots of eateries like to stinge of the cheese. When you bite into the naan, only certain areas/parts has cheese in it. That is not the case here, almost every mouth had cheese and garlic on it. It was good.
Paneer Butter Masala, is our all-time favourite any North Indian Restaurant and they nailed it here. Panner cooked in a lip-smacking sauce. Yum!! Paneer Butter Masala @ RM 21.90
Cheese & Garlic Naan was damn good and it a combo made in heaven for me. YUM!! Must try in Moghul Mahal. Garlic Naan @ RM 5/ Cheese Garlic Naan @ RM 8
Overall, very tasty Indian bread, must try
Not to forget, in conjunction with the upcoming jolly Christmas, Royal India has come up with special promotional menu โ Tandoori Whole Chicken at RM139++! Definitely something more interesting for your Christmas celebration asides from roasted turkey!
The Chef recommended the Butter Chicken and their "Cottage Cheese" Panners, generally the dishes are for 2-3 people, perhaps well worth trying next time!

Reasons to get Indian Food Delivery KL from Jhann during MCO: versatile dishes that can be frozen and reheated; great for families; extend the sauces by adding the leftovers to noodles or pasta; nicely balanced flavours.
Reasons to visit Jhann KL: modernized Indian classics dressed in style.
Now you are looking at the Mutton Chukka Varuval and this is definitely my favorite dish here in Sobeit. This dish reminded me of a darker version of beef rendang but this mutton chukka varuval was tender and juicy with a good amount of fat ratio to meat. I would order this again on my next visit.
Lloyd French Rack of Lamb How can we go less with this soft and tender rack of lamb serves with ratatouille on the side. We need more of this and yes, we love this dish!
The Mogul Chicken Biryani was delicious. It was made up of long grained steamed Basmati rice that was soft and flavorful. Youโd be able taste the spices, smell it too. The aroma was divine. There were about 4 pieces of chicken? It was soft, meaty and well flavored. The dish was accompanied by a side of yogurt and dhal.
The combination of the warm naan and the well-spiced curries went perfectly well. The piece of naan is certainly not enough to sop up the curries and we ended up having another piece.
The first dishes to arrive was the Garlic Naan and the Sarso Da Saag . I am crazy about spinach and so, the first thing to go was the vegetable, I ate it all up with much gusto. It wasnโt wet and/or soaked in gravy. No, what it was, was tasty and flavorful. I liked it lots.
It may take a life time to try everything out but seeing that the dishes are really reasonably priced, I think it would be an achievable goal.
Reasons to visit Roti Chai: the only Indian restaurant in this community; a bright colourful Instaworthy setting; we loved the butter chicken, freshly made bread, paneer tikka and the stuffed tangri kebab is a must-try.
Despite their hefty price tag, one thing I like about an authentic Indian restaurant is the person who take the order is always never the waiter or waitress. It always must be either the owner or someone close to the owner who knows about all the dishes in the menu. I have to give credit to their professionalism in every finest detail in serving their patrons.
