Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam (National Botanical Gardens) is one of Selangor and Malaysia’s top destinations for eco/agrotourism.
Lagipun harga tiket masuknya sangatlah murah.
Inside the beautiful Shah Alam National Botanical Park are the challenging Bukit Sapu Tangan, the beautiful Animal Park, and many other smaller gardens such as the Cactus Garden, Tropical Fruits Garden and more!

Each bath tub is only comfortable for 1 person to soak his whole body in it. It becomes crowded for 2 and nearly impossible for 3. There are 2 valves connected to each tub to control the temperatre of the water. The green valves control cold water and the red controls hot water from the natural hot spring. Here comes the question, how long do you have to wait for the bath tub to be filled with warm water? The answer is 2 hours. Yes, you need to wait for at least 2 hours to have a tub filled with warm water and the wait gets longer for warmer water.

The following morning, BabySumoKids went on their first kayaking experience. The backdrop couldn't have been anymore perfect; with the 400 million year old limestone hills and surrounding nature. I was majorly impressed with Hubby's kayaking skills too. Another activity checked off our bucket list ;) For those interested, you can try kayaking for RM5 per person.
One of the most amazing, coolest thing we did during the recent school holidays was getting to see, touch and feed Rain the Giraffe upclose at Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh. Rain is a 2-year old male giraffe born in Zoo Negara on a rainy day (hence the name). Now, Rain lives with other safari animals such as zebras and ostriches at the Giraffe & Friends section of the park.
we like the petting zoo and surrounded natural environment. The hot spring, sam and hubby had an enjoyable time but definitely not include me >_< Hopefully they can improve the enforcement of the dress code rules as well as the cleanliness of the pool water (if it really caused by lack of maintenance)
Akhirnya, kami memilih untuk mencuba dapatkan Butterfly Adoption Dari Melaka Butterfly And Reptile Sanctuary.
Butterfly & Reptile Sanctuary is a tourist attraction in Ayer Keroh, about 15km northeast of Malacca town. Also known as Taman Rama Rama & Reptilia Melaka, it is home to a collection of animals ranging from beautiful butterflies to snakes, lizards, crocodiles, and koi fishes.
For a 30-year-old park, the place is well maintained, spread over 5 hectares and set amidst lush, tropical surroundings. There are dedicated areas within the vast park for butterflies, reptiles, birds, etc. It’s also a nice place to escape Melaka’s blistering heat. Entry is RM22 per pax.
Bukit Gasing and Taman Rimba Kerinchi is basically the same forest, where prior one is in Petaling Jaya and later one in Kuala Lumpur. Sadly the car park is closed on public holiday, so we have to..
Gelak-gelak member dengar.
Suitable for city-bound hikers and nature lovers of all experiences and ages, Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi gets my vote as KL’s answer to New York’s Central Park.
The Kepong Metropolitan Park, located at the Northern end of Jinjang, is famous among locals for the kite flying activities that are practiced at this public facility on a daily basis. The ideal place for kite enthusiasts, there is a huge field that runs parallel to the main road in the park that is specifically for this purpose. Most barriers and trees have been removed to ensure a clearance of at least 100m for the kites to take off.
By the entrance there is a great play area with swings. Kites and small refreshments are sold by the car park. Early morning the options were drinks and keropok, but by the looks of it there will be a bit of a mini-bazaar later on in the afternoon. Near the entrance there is also a large circular area perfect for learner cyclists.
A great way to spend your time outdoors with your family. :)
Taman Saujana Hijau is located in Precinct 11 Putrajaya, comprising a hilly area that's been landscaped beautifully. Entrance to the park is free and you're bound to be blown away by what you find at this public garden that stretches out over 47 hectares of land.
Used to the unkempt wilderness of jungle trails, Taman Saujana Hijau’s manicured gardens and concrete jogging path never appealed to me. But, it seemed ridiculous that I had travelled to the most southerly point in Continental Asia and Malaysia’s most northerly state, yet had not explored my own backyard. So in December of last year, I satisfied my curiosity.
The dirt track is shady and with some breeze, it was nice to run around even at noon. The family and I walked around the track after our breakfast to burn some calories.

SACF is a selectively logged lowland rainforest. It is a part of the Bukit Cherakah Forest Reserve, and home to the endangered Malayan Tapirs. Despite all these, the Bukit Cherakah Forest Reserve is pretty much at great risk of degazettement.

The Kanching Eco Forest Park (Taman Eko Rimba Kanching) is located at Rawang and is about 21 km away from Kuala Lumpur. If you are looking for a few hours off your regular routine, head for this tropical rain forest and spend one to three hours here. This forest is a popular spot for a picnic during the weekends. It has seven waterfalls and pools have been built to contain the clean water that falls down from the hills.
Taman Eko Rimba Kanching has reopen on the 26th March 2022. Taman Eko Rimba Kanching is part of a trio of forest parks in Rawang located next to each other, with the other two being Taman Eko Rimba Templer and Taman Eko Rimba Komenwel. I brought the boys over today. It was their first real hike and first waterfall experience. We enjoyed ourselves very much that my boys are already pestering us to bring them over again to explore higher grounds (iFaint).
Bukit Jalil Park (Taman Rekreasi Bukit Jalil) is a popular recreational park in the southern suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, about 20km from the city centre.
Located some 20km from the city centre, the 80-hectare park is nicely landscaped, with jogging paths, equipment for exercising, picnic spots and ponds filled with catfish amidst lush greenery. If you’re lucky, you might even run into the small local wildlife, such as monkeys, cranes and monitor lizards!
