Once upon a time in Old Macau, a creative young woman learnt to make Portuguese food, Portuguese pork chops and its famous bread from a Portuguese chef. She served the pork chop and the bread together, in her own distinctively style, and the first pork chop buns were born. Chef Yoke learnt the recipe from an old sifu who had spent his life cooking in Macau's very fanous pork chop bun restaurant.
