We stayed in the gorgeous 2-bedroom Renewal Suite (289 sqm) and the sheer vastness of the suite is enough to impress you. Ideal for a family of four, the suite is plush and luxuriously appointed with two separate bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area, a pantry with a gourmet coffee maker, a reading room/relaxation lounge, two bathrooms, one toilet and a huge private balcony that offers the same gorgeous view of the sparkling Andaman Sea and Langkawi's famous isle's, The Pregnant Maiden and Tuba Island.
The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi (TRCL) is a beautiful getaway that takes only an hour and a half from KL to resort. And with a commitment to gastronomy as one of its key tenets, it’s an easy recommendation to anyone looking to luxuriously bask in sea and sun, with a glass of champagne in hand and fine eats to follow suit.

Overall Verdict: ★★★★☆ Overall, it has been an amazing stay in Resorts World Langkawi with its top-notch amenities, surreal sceneries, excellent location and impeccable services. I don’t mind coming back again for a long weekend escapade!
Resorts World Langkawi let you enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and also sunrise and sunset.
At any resort, the swimming pool is always a magnet for the young and old alike. There are two pools for kids here and one for adults. Those not into swimming can enjoy some hours in the gym using a treadmill or doing weights.
So if you want a serene and blissful honeymoon or a calming / healing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and town, Tanjung Rhu Resort is definitely the place to be!!!!
I enjoy dining at hotel restaurants from time to time as these restaurants offer you the unique experience to try some cuisine that reflects local flavors or offer a taste of home but at a comfortable and clean place…. And here are some of the Tanjung Rhu Beach Resort’s eateries/restaurants which my buddies and I were at….
On our last day in Langkawi, we decided to pamper ourselves at this secluded 5-star resort, situated at Tanjung Rhu beach, which is one of the best beaches on the island.
Never in my wildest dream did I think I’d be staying in Temple Tree Langkawi. After seeing all the alluring social media posts of the resort, I was ecstatic to be invited for a staycation.
Reasons to stay at Temple Tree Langkawi: a step back in time and a stay that gives guests a unique feel for local heritage and architecture; highly recommended for nature lovers.
I got the Dash Deluxe Garden room which was pretty spacious at 42m2 and came with a super king bed and 400 thread count cotton linens… So yes, the bed is undeniably cosy and guaranteed me a good sleep… And the resort mascot, the turquoise bunny plushie sits welcomingly in the middle of the bed….
Stayed in a Deluxe Room, with a comfy queen-sized bed, dressing table, TV and a Dash bunny to snuggle with. No bathtubs, but there is a nice shower, a wardrobe with bathrobes + slippers, as well as coffee and tea making facilities
The beautiful 32sqm Rainforest Chalet, as well as all the other chalets in Berjaya Langkawi Resort are built on stilts with traditional Malay wooden exteriors with the finest contemporary furnishing and amenities for the interiors…. And all came with a balcony.. I personally really loved my chalet as it was not too far from the main building, it was facing the Andaman Sea and I could look out of the balcony to see the waves crashing to the shore…
Verdict: 1. Overall, my short stay here is pleasant-- Thumbs up to the spacious and clean room, great buggy services as well as strategic location. 2. Recommended for big families, honeymoon couples and business travelers. 3. If I were to have any complaint at all, it would be the weak Wi-Fi connection that provides irregular connectivity in different rooms (Perhaps I am just unlucky there!)
My verdict? I actually love the room.. It was pretty, cheerful and colourful, and I did love the ‘Shanghai’ Seafood Char Hor Fun, which was really tasty.. My bed in the room was comfortable and well other then some slight hiccups like slow drainage in the bathroom (in my room) , it was an amazing stay and I would definitely be back for another stay in next time I am in Sungai Petani…
Reasons to visit Ambong-Ambong Rainforest Retreat Langkawi: a beautiful and peaceful luxury retreat; secluded accommodation with the convenience of nearby dining and entertainment; warm and friendly staff; spacious rooms; open-walled balconies with stunning views; kitchenette makes longer stays easy.
A stay at Rebak Island Resort is the definition of luxury. The resort is split into 2 wings, the first containing traditionally-inspired wooden chalets while the second has more modern concrete chalets, still fitted with Malay-style wooden furniture. Guests in both wings wake up meters away from waves gently lapping at the shore. It doesn’t get any better than this.
Each room comes with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom while guest rooms at the hotel are equipped with a seating area and terrace.
Reasons to visit The Andaman Langkawi: stunning location between the rainforest and the sea; healthy cuisine options; an abundance of outdoor activities; dreamy beds; plentiful wildlife.
Positive – the whole stay is amazing to be honest…the staff are friendly, and the place is clean, and for what I am paying… My bathroom, my bed and my view (when I open the door) is such a dream come true…. Negatives – the garden area and the lane can be a bit dark at night to walk for a scaredy cat like me…. It is tucked inside a “kampung” off the main road….
