For those who frequently travel along LDP, you should notice a rojak and cendol truck parked at the side of the road leading into Taman Megah. Judging by the number of customers I have seen camping there, its popularity can certainly match Cendol & Rojak Mustaffa in Section 17. Despite knowing its existence for years, it was only until the last weekend that we decided to give it a try.

With the concept of "natural, healthy and delicious", we seek to create a new style of leisure drinks and food. Our specialty is making our drinks with modern technology an infusing with traditional charm. By doing this and adding different elements, we constantly come up with changing flavours. We incorporate our concept in our shop's decoration as well, giving our patrons a sense of return to nature, while drinking the best tea on offer, thus bringing the best relaxation. Royaltea hopes to be able to combine leisure and culture by bringing high quality tea drinks and snacks to places near you.

However as the popular drink here is Royal Cheese, we gave a try to paint our upper lip with the "moustache". Follow their instructions to enjoy the tea, i.e. must not use a straw and drink with the cup slanted 45 degree to your lips. Taste wise, the drink is creamy due to the presence of cheese and not sweet. We felt it has overturned somehow overturned the concept of milk tea as public tend to perceive milk tea as sweet. Royaltea can be considered as a decent alternative to hang out with friends for a cup of tea in fact. Nevertheless, the price did not come cheap, as a cup of Royal Cheese Green Tea cost us RM 13.90.

If you are such a huge fan on fried squid, you will definitely order Crispy Squid (SR) RM7.90 which consists of large squid tentacle meat (only) instead of other Squid parts. This version of fried squid is finely chopped into cube sized, deeply fried, then serve with a few delectable seasonings, simple yet more flavourful compared to any squid parts on the menu.

A pack of long fries at MYR 9.50 nett. Long fries are basically thin and long sticks made from the same batter as churros. I chose nacho cheese sauce instead of cheddar cheese or spicy sauce because I did not want a spicy sauce and when I asked the cashier on the difference between nacho cheese and cheddar cheese, she said that nacho cheese sauce is salty whereas cheddar cheese sauce is creamier and on the sweet side and I prefer salty. The long fries taste similar to yao zhar kwai (chinese cruellers) but is crispier. I did not count how many sticks there are in the pack but I think there are about 10 sticks.

Original Churros RM5.90 Flavour : Cinnamon / Chocolate / Cheese Dipping Sauce (+RM1.90): Chocolate / Cream Cheese / Butterscotch / Blueberry Cinnamon churros is the bestseller of Street Churros, it is my favourite too! Every churro is dusted nicely with flavour powder.

I personally feel that the Filling Churro is more enjoyable as the creamy filling melts in the mouth as we bite through the crisp piping hot churro. Again, my favourite is the lightly Cream Cheese filled churro, which is slightly more savoury but not overpowering. Good to try even if you may not be a fan of cheese.

You do not get those fancy Cendol's here. What he prepares is the typical old school style of preparation and they are very reasonably priced. Compared to the prices that you get in the Klang Valley, this is merely half of it but rest assured, it is really good. If you happen to pass through Tanjung Malim, I would strongly recommend giving this Cendol a try. My rating for this shall be 9/10.

It containes yogurt + chutney + thinly chopped potatoes + crunchy thinly fried dough + spices and several other ingredients that I missed while busy gobbling it up. It was yummy. I liked it. A new business venture under the "Fullhouse" brand, though we are still unsure how the brand got associated with serving the Hong Kong Egg Waffles. It occupies a strategic lot at Lower Ground Floor, Queensbay Mall (previously Chatime); it has a lot of Fullhouse-related merchandise on sale with a couple of seats available facing the "open kitchen". The setup is meant for takeaways so dining-in is not recommended. The place is dishing out 6 flavors- Original, Chocolate, Lemon, Corn, Cheesy-Berry and Choco-Bamon... with starting price from Rm 5 nett.
