Most of the dishes did not disappoint but we thought they were boldly seasoned. The Green Curry Chicken possessed the distinctive flavors but the indelible sweetness left us underwhelmed. Equally sweet was the Hot Pot Tanghoon. We did not expect the dish to be drenched in soup as we were expecting a Thai-styled Claypot Glass Noodles instead. The taste was decent but not exactly what we hoped for. The Thai-styled Mango Kerabu on the other hand was good. The Mango was perfectly ripened and carried the unique acidic touch and fruity essence. The Eastern Stir Fried Vermicelli Noodles resembles Mee Goreng, it was again on the sweeter side but with the quintessential Wok Hei and delightful spicy touch, we thought the dish was beautifully executed. With the small serving portion, we did not think it was a cheap meal so it shall remain as an occasional place for lunch.
Here's the location.
Food and Music in air condition room is just awesome ! The food here is HALAL .. !
The signature Tom Yum Seafood is a dish not to be missed. The broth was thick, rich and robust in flavors... a perfect balance of sweet, sour and savory notes. It has the quintessential spiciness that would leave you wanting more... yet, not too overpowering, one of the best Thai Tom Yums around

Overall, Foodie Noodles Restaurant 福有面有福 is a place to come if you are looking for authentic and affordable Thai food in Penang.
In spite of this, Cha Yen is able to sustain surprisingly affordable prices.
There are not many dining tables in Cha Yen, so the place is reasonably spacious and comfortable.
They serve authentic Thai Food and Thai Milk Tea being their signature.
So Thaisty started out as a Thai Tea parlour but recently, it has rolled out its food menu. Housed in a snug shop lot right to the Bayan Baru mosque (facing the Bayan Baru wet market), So Thaisty is known to serve thirst-quenching Thai Tea but its newly introduced food menu focuses on noodle-dishes. Noodle-lovers would be glad to know that no common Thai dishes such as Tom Yum or Kerabu but instead, some unconventional Thai-inspired noodle dishes. Though the menu is small, the flavors are big; the Chef pays great attention to small details as to the use of herbs and spices. Given the satisfying quality, we thought the dishes are competitively priced. It is also noteworthy that So Thaisty does catering as well, so it might be a decent option to cater for the Muslim crowd (manned by Muslim Chef and proprietor).
Besides the à la carte menu, Ok Seab also serves set meals for large groups.
Eastern Wishes serve Nanyang and Thai Cuisine ranging from Appetisers, Omelette to Fried Noodles and Rice.
