Red Eye Smokehouse Singapore Review with pictures of menu : American BBQ & Smoked Meats, USDA beef ribs, Iberia pork, smoke chicken ...
Red Eye Smokehouse is probably the best among the three American-style BBQ restaurants in Singapore.
Buns and pickles are served on request with no additional charge. I'm pretty sure I'd like to drop by again sometime.
Food at Creamery Boutique Ice Creams is all about desserts, a blend of Western and Asian flavours, focusing on artisanal small batch ice cream and home made cookies.
Prices are comparable to other dessert parlours, budget about SGD $10 per person.
All in all, with it's contender KOOKS Creamery that has been around for some time, Creamery Boutique is in a fierce competition.
The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly too!
The food here is generally good.
This is a cafe that I would not only love to visit over and over again, but also spend hours at each time, either for a good ol’ catch-up session with friends, or just to read a book with cake and coffee for company.
Oberstrasse is a small cafe close to Lavender, and it features some good coffee and brunch plates. I went for the Crab Benedict. While the Crabcake was a little overfried it was still a pretty good…
We liked the coffee at Oberstrasse Cafe. The staff was cheerful and friendly. The prices are reasonable, especially when you consider that no GST or service charge is added to the bill.
The only down side I would have think of is perhaps the smell on the clothing after dining. I don't mind returning for sausage and rosti.
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
It's Neapolitan style pizza, so it's all about the dough, including the flour and fermentation.
Overall it was a nice lunch!
Cherry and Oak Review by Chubby Botak Koala, Smoked Brisket Singapore, Nasi Lemak Bakar in Singapore, Muslim Owned Smoke House in Singapore,
The Cempedak Creme Brulee presented a more creamy and heavy custard, full of the pungent and funky aroma and flavour of cempedak, with occasional fruit bits, and a hard and crispy crust on top.
Cherry & Oak is a Muslim-owned smokehouse cafe located along Owen Road which promises plenty of smoked meats with Asian & Western influences.
Not hard to see why I keep coming back to Mahota Kitchen for their healthy, scrumptious food items, can you?
All the guiltless treats featured above can be ordered online at Kekito Bakery.
After eating, we didn’t feel heavy. The ingredients are indeed good quality, which contributes to how delicious the food is. I do wish the food is more affordable and I regret ordering the salad which is so little.
It was with great anticipation that I made my reservation to eat at Lucali. After all I am a Pizza Snob and I miss my New York City Pizza so much.
I wouldn’t recommend Lucali. The food is pricy and average with limited choices.
I like the dining vibe at Lucali BYGB and I highly recommend if carbs is your favourite friend.
Loved the Pan-Seared Salmon Fillet (SGD $19.90), with its perfectly executed fresh salmon fish fillet.
The Bravery Cafe is a Muslim-owned work-friendly cafe that provides free wifi and power outlets. There is no GST and service charge. Brownie points.
I personally prefer the dishes to be less elegant but more generous in portion and present in a more casual way, since the focus is on grilled items. This probably will fit the cafe's style and ambiance more.
When I am in need for lunch and also coffee when I am in the area, I will surely pop over to Liberty Coffee Bar without doubt.
The café scene has visibly slowed down the past one year and it’s a case of the survival of the fittest. Liberty coffee definitely has the means to last through, at least we enjoyed the coffee.
To be honest, I have tried Liberty Coffee only at other cafes, but wasn’t always impressed due the sharp aftertaste.
I like that the food comes in claypots which retain heat for a long time. After we finished our cockles, the catfish was still hot that Mr Fitness scalded his tongue.
For those who are interested in Vietnamese fare in general, perhaps Mrs Pho House would be worth a visit; bring a friend or two, and order a few of their sides, mains and seafood for an eye-opening meal into the world of Vietnamese cuisine.
On the whole, Knock Knock cafe provides a satisfactory experience and a new cafe for Easties to hang out.
Welcome to Knock Knock Café, a quaint café decked in flower-filled walls. Come here for Asian-inspired pasta and burgers including ‘Lup Cheong’ Carbonara and Otak-Otak Burger, and signature beverages like foamy bear lattes that are topped with adorable frozen teddies.
I was a teenager once and remember how my stomach was an almost bottomless pit. Hence, with both my niece and nephew going into the teen pha...
Knowing my love for lamb chops, which are pretty pricey at many Western food stalls in Singapore, the Great Kon kindly shared about the ones...
After having their Sirloin Steak, I am definitely coming back to try their other dishes.
Overall, I really enjoyed the experience at Absurdities and I would say a bit more than at AndsoForth as the food quality was definitely improved and the presentation of the staff was also more on point. The interactive sessions were also more natural and enjoyable. Although the price point for Absurdities is higher, with the meals served I think the experience is still quite worth the price tag
A buttery, rich pastry is one of my top weaknesses, and I can never say no to a good croissant. Considering the cafe’s prices and location, I’ll definitely head down again, and with my mum the next time.
The texture of the Cheeseburger Donut itself was fluffy, and the savouriness somehow worked.
Dining amidst this unpretentious cafe made us feel relaxed. Besides, the food served here is pretty decent and reasonably priced. We would visit it again if we’re in the area.
Overall, the food at Brewerkx was surprisingly good. The place is spacious and quite stretched out.
He is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef and he has the abilities to execute these dishes well but somehow it just did happen this time. He is a really nice chap nonetheless and he deserved a chance to do well at this stall. I might just go back after the hype dies down.
The Diner is still worth checking out if you’re in the Lavender area and are up for wacky fusion creations such as Seafood Laksa Pasta ($12), Tsukune Burger ($12) and Truffle Mac & Cheese Balls ($8) at affordable prices.
Overall, the lunch at The Diner by The Travelling C.O.W. was good.
Despite Wimbly Lu being a chocolate café, my personal favorite would be the Lemon Meringue Pie ($7).
It is a very pleasant and cosy dessert place. The prices are reasonable and their waffles remain one of our all time favourites.
I guess it’s about doing what they are good at doing best while ensuring food quality and consistency.
