The Pork Shoulder Chop on its own was actually good because it was tender and moist. But the brown sauce was way too salty. So I scrapped most of it off and ate only the meat. There was also a bit of porky smell which was unfortunate.
One of my most satisfying meal in a while, and reservation is recommended. I like the Spanish ribs, it is the salty version and not those sweet bbq sauce. The sausages is superb as well.
Iberico Pork Sausage (RM12.90), Farmer's Bratwurst- English Parsley Sausage (RM10.50) and Garlic Sausage (RM10.50) Comment: 3 of these sausages taste really good on its own, very tasty, juicy, thick and firm, definitely premium quality!
Murni has changed a lot since back in the days, now they no longer sell roti. Food takes a while to be served. Lamb chop mee udon is okay. Somehow food on every other tables look better.
Dah lama tak lepak Murni ni. Sekali datang, masih macam dulu. Orang tak putus putus.
To make things easy for the night, we just go for all time Malaysian Favorite - Nasi Lemak Murni Discovery (RM 13.90). The nasi lemak platter is worth the price paid as it comes generously with a piece of chicken wings, sambal condiments with prawns, hard boiled egg, salted peanuts, slices of cucumbers on a piece of banana leaf. All the essential flavors are there. If we were to nitpick, it would be the sambal condiments lacking the driving factors to complement the rice.
Pasta stirfried local style so it tastes like mee goreng. Very flavourful. From the ala carte menu, it costs MYR 15.80+ (6% SST = MYR 16.75 nett) from Brew House, SS2, PJ.
Customers do come here for the food and beer.
A portion of Moo Ping (3 sticks) for MYR 14.80 nett. The pork meat is well marinated, is very soft and pinkish though it was well cooked so I don't think I will order it again.
Overall, our experience at Extraction was nothing short of excellent. The extensive menu, warm atmosphere, and exceptional food make it a standout in our community. Our top favorites were the “Avocado, Tiger Prawns & Eggs” and the Tiramisu. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a delicious brunch or a cozy meal, look no further than Extraction. We’ll definitely be returning soon for another visit.
Chicken Katsu Don, 19 ringgit The Chicken Katsu Don was pretty good. This dish came with meaty, juicy, boneless chicken pieces that was generous in portion size. The pieces were relatively bigger in size compared to the other chicken dons I’ve come across. The rice too were generously portioned with plenty of fluffy egg bits scattered all over. One issue I had with this dish was the soy broth. This was surprisingly not generous? There was not enough to last me until the end, or midway even which meant that halfway through, the dish as a whole became a tad dry.
Ezel's big breakfast was indeed a big plate of happiness as described. There was a lot going on on the plate and the scrambled eggs could be fluffier but it was decent. If you're hungry enough to eat a horse, the big breakfast is definitely worth it.

Overall, Butter & Spice proved to be a convenient and enjoyable destination for satisfying our pastry cravings. So the next time you find yourself in SS 2 looking for something sweet or savory, be sure to stop by Butter & Spice for a treat.
The space here is comfortable with plenty of seats and filtered natural light through the glass walls. We’ll return to check out the hot menu (and for more of the delicious shiopan).
Whether you’re craving a distinctive fusion dish or a classic dessert with a twist, Chloe.Co SS 2 brings a touch of Ipoh to Petaling Jaya. It’s an ideal spot for a laid-back meal with friends or family.
The team serves with plenty of passion and while still lacking in skills, everything we had were done right. Churros (RM 12) could have use a thicker chocolate sauce, perhaps more nutella-ish. Juices can be more interesting and healthier because Malaysians are more aware of healthy juices, but caffeine beverages are lovely. The small menu makes it easy to keep their fresh produce at the top of quality and ultimately showcased in their delicious food. Price tags were affordable and inexpensive given the reasonable serving size and tasty food.
Salted egg yolk lovers.. you gonna love this!! Creamy and very generous amount of salted egg yolk sauce! Curry leaves and little bit of "cili padi" brings out more of the flavor. I can have this everyday! No kidding! The roast pork is juicy with super crispy skin. Goes well with the pasta that was cooked to al-dente!
The coffee's pleasant, a bit of a lighter roast than the norm. All in all, Gee & Geek has potential, ranking among 2015's more promising independent cafes so far. It serves brunch too - expect everything from Big Breakfasts to Greek yoghurt parfaits. Get your geek on!
