Overall, we enjoyed our meal here at Bumbu Bali, as we managed to satiate our craving for Balinese food. This space is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a nice and comfortable spot for dinner in Puchong.
For snacks, we shared the fried chicken strips (RM17), served with garlic pepper sauce. This was mostly chicken skin but oh-so-addictive. The sauce was strong and garlicky.
I do not know much about Balinese food and so, all I will say is that the food here is good. I went online, was curious to see the restaurant reviews as well as how well rated it was and yea, the reviews and ratings speaks for itself. Food was goooood, delicious. The dish came with Rice + Spiced Squids + Grilled Fish + Grilled Prawns + a Satay Lilit ( chicken or beef) + Chicken Rendang + Sambal (sambal Matah and sambal Terasi) + Anchovies Crackers + Salad. It was worth every penny, that is all I have to say. Did I mention how satisfied I was – very.
This cafe offer interestingly tasty lunch set under RM 18 on weekdays. You get lemon tea for free, or RM 3 discount if you order coffee. Crispy Chicken Namban with Salad (RM 17.90) is pretty good..
Lunch set available around RM 15 with free ice lemon tea, or add on RM 7 to upgrade to Cappuccino. The food is actually of decent quality, with wife thinks it should have more sauce (too dry). I..
Unagi with Rice and Japanese curry with chicken karaage (above). The portion was very generous, with three huge chunks of fried chicken, rice wrapped in a perfectly fluffy omelette, flooded with a savoury curry sauce. Tastewise, it was pretty good although I felt that it could have benefited from extra seasoning (curry was quite bland). The chicken was excellent, and despite the large size it was juicy and thoroughly cooked, with crisp skin.
Nice cake and pie, and good coffee.
The Mee Jawa set lunch is decent. Coffee and cake is always good.
The restaurant serves all-day breakfast, western cuisines, variety of cakes as well as local delights such as Laksa.
This place has been running in Puchong for many years, and now they renovated the place to look new and bright. The food is not fancy, with nice. They serve good Malaysian local coffee. The Nasi..
The Sarawak Laksa was okay but I am not too sure what all the positive ratings online was about. The broth was soupy and watery. Sure, I know that this laksa generally has a less thicker broth than Curry and Asam Laksa but I am pretty sure it shouldn’t be as watery as the one here. It’s almost as if they decided to forego the little coconut milk needed for this dish. Oh well, what would I know, right? I’ve only tasted a few Sarawak Laksas prior to this. Tastewise, it was decent. There were lots of shredded chicken and noodles. The slight sourness, usually derived from tamarind, was missing or perhaps very mild. Despite the lack of, it was not bland. Somewhat flavorful. So, that was good.
I think the noodles are good as well as SIL and brother said that their servings of curry noodles and Sarawak Laksa was acceptably good. I will give it a try should I revisit this place again. When we left, more customers are walking into the kopitiam. Looks like we can revisit this place again.. and this time maybe with Mum.. hehe
核桃咖啡厅以自己的餐桌为荣,每一块餐具都由耐用,高品质,坚固的木材制成,特别设计成具有不同的质感和可供出售。
Walnut Cafe & Bar at PPCC Bandar Puteri Puchong ( beside Four Points by Sheraton Hotel Puchong) serves lemongrass drink in beer barrel, western food, coffee.
The name of the restaurant itself, Walnut, is inspired by the wood material of the tables that are used in the cafe which is strong, hard, durable and great for doing table top. Walnut cafe is more than just a place for good food, relax and chill. A very stylish and Instagram worthy cafe.
Nice café centre at Setia Walk Puchong, 8 cups of drink with a total bill of Rm 72 but they allow you to bring your own cake for birthday celebration and such. nice place to chill out not just drinks but food as well. Drink price from RM 5.90 to RM 9.90
食物 ☆☆☆ 服务 ☆☆☆ 环境 ☆☆☆☆ 价钱 ☆☆☆☆(☆为平价,☆☆☆☆☆为高价) 推荐 - Cheese baked tomato rice with seafood
When everyone went for fruit juices, I was attracted with the coffee and cake promotion, if you get any cheesecake, you will be able to get the selected drink at 50% discount. I had Macademia Cheese(RM11.5+) and Cappuccino(RM3.45+, UP: RM6.9+). Coffee smells good, taste ok for me, the cheesecake is normal baked cheesecake but the caramelized macademia nuts on top tasted quite nice.
Unlike Kim Gary's abomination, this one is all fluff and soft. Not a single bite was dry, thanks to the oil and butter. At some point, it was hard to differentiate between them. Of course, it was good. Of course, it's not good too, for health. But once in awhile, an indulgence won't kill.
The price is slightly high, but the portion size is generous and it tastes good. This is my second time here today, and we ordered the Grilled Pork Chop with MEO Homemade Gracy (RM 33.90). The pork..
Great service, reasonable price. Surprisingly good fish and chip, chicken chop average. Mash potatoes and pasta side dishes are pretty good.
The jackfruit drink pretty nice. Cake and pastry looks good, but maybe too sweet.
This cafe is an Instagram haven. Food option is limited, with coffee, pastry, cake and western + balinese fusion. Food wise is pretty unique and tasty. I think the Burger Sampi is quite good.
Big portion of freshly made pasta, slightly salty, tastes okay. Bacon spaghetti with pesto cream sauce (RM 18). Spicy Rice wine spaghetti with clams and cherry tomatoes (RM 19).
Shiny black tiled bar counter, with a dessert display mm hmm... can't see any coffee bean on display though... but we know it straight when our coffee arrived, its on a 'Lavazza' printed cup.
Le lovely lieu - Le Pollidor Cafe is a stylish contemporary café, which provides visitors with a nice view via their full length glass windows. You will be spoilt for choice in this café with their many varieties of meal courses.
Friendship Platter Wings Signature Platters , Crispy salty spicy wings , Porky fries , fried abalone mushrooms , porcupine franks and the wings Mojo fries . It was a perfection platters for a gang of friends chilling and having the combination of snack without arguing what to choose .
If you love music and have been paying attention to local productions, I am sure Wings Cafe is definitely no stranger to you. Formerly known as Hai Luo Music Cafe, this place was the IT place for all the teens bearing their singer dreams. After 4 years of blooming success, this place was sold to Ah Niu in the year of 2000 and now Hai Luo solely focuses on album production.
Decent pork burger, with good fries. The location in Puteri Mart probably isn't strategic.
Coffee and cheesecake didn't disappoint.
