The Smoked Duck Breast Pesto Fettuccine was delicious but it was a little odd as there was minimal hint of Pesto (or Basil). In fact, it felt like Carbonara... but it didn't matter as long as it was good
As you walk further in, you will be welcomed by a nice cosy ambiance that certainly makes dining comfort.
餐厅分成室内室外,而且还有上下两层,室内可以容纳72人,室外则可以容纳18人
A good start is the meat platter and we went for the regular version (200gm). The platter is flurried with a selection of hams, and cheeses, besides plates of pickles, olives, and delicious mustard. We nibbled our way through the platter with warm bread.
Equally delicious was the Beef Goulash, a well-spiced and reasonably seasoned stew served with warm crusty bread... a little peppery but flavorful and dangerously addictive.
We only managed to sample simple items like Yogurt Parfait and Bagel. The taste was pretty straight-forward and self-explanatory but if I may give some advice, I would like the Yogurt Parfait (the Caramel flavor was missing too) to have a touch of Cinnamon powder... for a more dimensional flavor... as for the Bagel... it would be better if they could be more generous with the Cream Cheese. Same goes to the Sweet Potato Latte, the Sweet Potato element could be bolder... it was too light to be discerned (except the color).
The menu is pretty limited so we resorted to some unconventional choices for our lunch - Smoked Salmon Bagel (RM 14). While the bagel texture was done alright and there was a generous portion of salmon, the entire dish just did not feel great, probably due to cream cheese spread cup was being used instead of self prepared cream cheese. Though the crew reminded us additional cream cheese can be requested but we felt it was more of the quality and not quantity of the cream cheese that calls for all the differences. Moreover, the expected aroma from sesame on top of bagel was absence.
Overall, the food here was nice especially the grilled pork with garlic gravy is one of my favorites. The price was reasonable too especially the grilled pork as the portion was big. Most of the tables here are located in the open space, which the chances of getting mosquito bites are high. This is one of the main deterrents if you are sitting outdoors. The waiting time is slightly long perhaps due to the busy crowd. It would be better to be there before 7pm before the crowd starts to kick in.
I'm really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommended.
Despite the no air-conditioned settings, the air-flow was alright during lunch hour. Menu is simple, thus we ordered a Jalapeno Bacon Cheese Burger (RM 15) and Pulled Pork Sandwich (RM 16). Both are served with some wedges, though we cannot differentiate between the burgers and sandwiches. The pulled pork was nicely done, generous in portion and comes seasoned with special BBQ sauces that gives it a strong pleasant taste, while nothing could go wrong for the classic bacon cheese combination. No fancy items on the menu but everything more like some simple western dishes that can satiate both your stomach and appetite.
Nostalgia has a spacious dining hall with air conditioning.
Nevertheless, the hotel is still well connected to the city; Gurney Drive is just a 15-minute drive away.
OMG! Huge crispy chicken burger, crispy chicken chop is even bigger than my face. With buy 1 free 1 price, it only RM15 per burger. Super cheap!
One of the best-sellers- Jungle Bird... a concoction of Plantation Dark Rum, Campari and Pineapple Juice. It has the tropical refreshing nature but the alcohol may be a little too strong to my liking... would prefer to be balanced with a hint of acidity

One of the recommended dishes is the Oxtail Stew with Mash. The dish consists of tender meat, carrot, barley, and peas in an aromatic stew prepared with selected spices. Served along with the homemade mash, this dish with a whisper of peppercorn is a pure comfort. Definitely a hearty dish for diners to return for.
This is the stall where you would expect to find hearty choices like salted vegetable pork soup (RM7.50) and the bitter gourd pork soup. The combination of the salted vegetable pork soup with meat, meatballs, and innards over a bowl of yam rice is simply irresistible.
Here's the location.
