Will I come back again? Most likely for their roast duck drumstick if I can beat the queue and find a parking space. This is the Sun Ming Kee Restaurant and Menu prices 2022. Simple food but it is good!
Well-known chicken rice and duck rice in Taman Connaught , serving one of the most crispy , tender and juicy roasted chicken and duck accommodate with variety of soups and yong tau fu .
In short, instead of eating the-ever-popular roast duck in Sun Ming, we recommended siu yoke and char siew. Service is alright, not as bad as we read from some reviews online. We won’t come back from their roast duck again, but definitely yes for char siew.
Butter Chicken (S), 15 ringgit + Palak Paneer,14 ringgit. The Butter Chicken and Palak Paneer was equally as delicious. The gravies were awesome, a perfect combination with the naan. They both had generous filling. Both dishes were the ‘Small’ option and I was surprised as to how much filling it came with. If you eat in eateries like Tasty Chapati, they would give you even lesser filling at a higher price. Not here though. Here, it is decently priced. The chicken came in various sizes and pieces – big, small, long, short. You name it and it is there. The Palak Paneer, which basically consisted of spinach gravy with plenty of cheese cubes was tasty. I wouldnt change a thing.
Chapathi Recipes is a famous Indian Cuisine Restaurant in Taman Connaught, KL which served northern Indian delicacy dishes.
The Garlic Cheese Naan at Chapathi Recipes is among one of the best in Kuala Lumpur. Every bite was packed with garlicy and buttery flavours, and the crispy texture made this dish even more desirable.
来到蕉赖媚姨辣椒板面 Madam Chiam Curry Noodle House @ Cheras, 发现搭配苋菜的板面也别具一番风味。
Curry Laksa Noodle was damn good, an irresistible bowl of rich and flavorful Curry Laksa Noodle with the perfect taste and texture. YUM!!
Restaurant Tien Sun Tien is quite famous in everyone’s heart, they have a fast serving rate and overall nice food, people tried it and liked it, I am not the only one who thought so, the crowd proves it all. So I think this is one of the Chinese restaurant that worth coming back for.
Tien Sun Tien Restaurant 天上天美味园 is my recent find for a great spread of Chinese dishes at a reasonable price. I have been frequent here lately; at least once a week for their flavourful Chinese dishes that prepared with real ‘wok hei'. Besides that, the servings are quite generous.
I ordered chicken chop MYR 11.50+ (5% service charge = MYR 12.05 nett) from the set lunch menu because I do not want to eat rice nor noodles. Includes a glass bottle of ice lemon grass drink. The chicken chop is a boneless chicken thigh.
There were three tastes: savouriness from the Tau Cheong base was clearly evident, followed by the sweetness from the sauces' caramel and finally some tart from dried Mandarin skin where it gave off the sweet and aromatic taste and smell.
Craft cafe is not just about food and coffee but it also offers a variety of arts and crafts lessons.
The favorite spot where many students love to hangout to complete their Assignments .
ts a bit on the expensive side, in terms of simple fare, but RM8.50 is not too bad considering the seafood involved. And overall, I do not mind coming here again if someone would like me to join.
Delicious Pork Noodles and seafood just open right opposite Ikon Mall serving the best home minced pork with organs.
地方幽静适合朋友仔饮杯茶吃个包,停车场幽静夜麻麻一个女性真系有少少心惊惊,唔知道是好是坏
It is worth recommending Green Tea and Earl Grey ice cream, with cornmeal toast, very satisfying, very evil!
The most interesting part of this cafe is that you can draw anything as a coffee art on the coffee. Interesting right? The owner is really pro in drawing and it is incredible that he can draw anything on the same surface area of the coffee and not make a mistake.
The horse grass-fed chicken, steamed and served with minced ginger is another crowd-puller. If you're used to eating antibiotics and hormone reared chickens, you will find such a huge contrast with horse grass-fed chickens. The meat of horse grass-fed chicken is very flavorful and firm with no chicken odor. For someone who does not fancy eating steamed chicken, this chicken is my only exception. It is cooked to a tee and I give it a 10/10 rating for taste and freshness. But the price is a shocker @ RM120 a chicken. We ordered half a chicken and the entire plate of chicken was polished clean with no leftover for the girls.
The Yong Tau Foo platter was so good that we ordered another portion for takeaway for our dinner tomorrow.
Summer Asian Chick, 22 ringgit. This was their ‘Popular’ dish under their Chicken Chop option. There were 3 choices and this was their most liked. The dish basically consisted of tender, crispy boneless chicken with cheese + sweet and sour sauce + potato wedges + salad. It was something different. I have not really tasted much of a chicken fillet with sweet and sour sauce presented this way. What I am used to is a crispy chicken fillet with sweet and sour sauce but not chicken chop style. I actually liked it. I liked it even more once I let the the chicken and the wedges to dip in the sauce, to make sure it seeped through the meat and potato – a yummy sweet and soggy meal. The cheese, for me was pretty redundant. It is basically “Cheesedale”, the packaged ones you’d find at every grocery store? The taste is mild , eating it with the meat – I could hardly taste the cheese. It does not matter though, since the taste of the cheese was pretty much non existent, whether it is on the plate or not – does not matter. A delicious dish overall.
很高兴在Cheras也出现了一家水准很不错的Café,环境优美,食物大份又好吃,很值得一试!
I like the bright and cheery environment but more so for the spaciousness which makes it a great place to sit and chat for hours with friends (unlike some smaller, cramp cafes which make you feel that you've overstayed because of the many customers waiting for seats). Though they serve the usual, simple cafe food here, the reasonable prices of under RM20 for most of their dishes, coupled with friendly service, will be what endears their customers to them. I didn't get to try their egg waffles this time, perhaps on my next visit! ^_*
The Curry Mee broth was milky and flavorful. The type of noodles I opted for was mee hoon and it was provided in a good portion. Besides that, this dish also came with 3 medium pieces of chicken, several cubes of potatoes and long beans. It has been months since I’ve had Curry Mee and having tasted this was simply divine
Overall, our trip to Thong Kee Café Taman Connaught Cheras is worth it. The food here are good, generous in portion with reasonable pricing. We will definitely come back to Thong Kee Café in the future.
Hubby had the Fried pork noodle (RM7.50) which was pretty good. I enjoyed this more than my pho, as it was nicely seasoned and had plenty of wok hei. The noodles were like Cintan curly noodles, stir fried together with beansprouts, carrots, onion and pork fillet. I would order this again for sure!
Delightful Meal !! Highly Recommended !!
我和婆婆都很爱这里的猪肚汤, 猪肚没有骚味, 而且猪肚的肉质熬煮得特软, 带胡椒辣味的汤超下饭!
My order: pork chop rice set with cold lemon honey drink at MYR 11 nett only. Good value for money. Taste is fine too. I kept half for dinner because of the big rice portion.
A cosy cafe designed to give you ambiance and comfort.
Beans and Yogurt Cafe: The grey colour shoplot is this eatery located at Taman Connaught, Cheras (difficult to find parking during weekdays). As it is a new eatery, I hope it will be around for a long time since it serves waffles which are a little more affordable than here and tastier than here (better don't name the places directly). I will be back with my family to let them try the waffles.
虽然并唔能够与我家昔日的古早味相提并论,但系一样好味道,回头率绝对高达百分之七十五巴仙以上,必吃喔~~~
Overall, it is comfort food at Restoran Gafan Taman Connaught Cheras. We enjoyed the food here, the taste and the portion is pretty decent. If you are looking for claypot rice in Cheras, you can consider this Restoran Gafan Taman Connaught Cheras.
Since we went off the lunch peak hour the service was pretty brisky even though we ordered a relatively sizeable amount of meat for the 5 of us. They offered a wide variety of meat other than their famed goose including steamed chicken, roast pork (siu yuk) which of course we didnt skip out on and a few other seasonal variations offered on weekends.
