Despite it not being aimed at my demographic, I really enjoyed TeddyVille. It’s whimsical, fun and charming, and I couldn’t help but get swept along by the absurdity. If you aren’t staying in Batu Ferringhi, then it’d be a bit out of the way – but look into the eyes of the bears and tell them they’re not worth it!
Overall, it is a nice museum to visit and you can find out more about Penang together with the cute little bears.
This Teddyville Museum is like a Little Penang. Using the human sized bears and miniature sized bears to bring out the Malaysian culture, but also exhibit the popularity of Penang island. Be it food, street, tourist spots and also some history of Penang.
Entry: RM36 (adults/MYKAD), RM25 (children/MYKAD) I really enjoyed my visit to the Teddyville Museum and it exceeded my expectations with its beautiful sets, meticulous attention to detail and wonderful showcase of Malaysian heritage. I think it’ll be a great place to take the kids to and teach them in a fun and educational way about Penang’s history and culture.
