When I saw this Lontong poster, I had to order it because I like to eat compressed rice. The ingredients. Rice cake or compressed rice is what I like to eat. There is also deep fried mee hoon in the lontong which is too oily to be eaten so I just left them. Something I seldom do because I don't like to waste food but trust me, they are just too oily so it is better to walk away.

We went for our regular nasi lemak beef rendang and teh tarik at The Warung, Midvalley Mall. The prices in Sep 2018 are still the same as in Aug 2018 as recorded here so the total is MYR 16.15 nett for 2 pax as we shared this meal.

Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang which costs MYR 11.90+ (MYR 13.09 nett). Total bill is MYR 16.15 nett for 2 pax because we shared this dish so that we can eat more food elsewhere.

One day at about 12.30 noon, we went to Warung to have our usual Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang only to be told that their Nasi Lemak has sold out so they suggested that we eat Beef Rendang mixed rice instead. I forgot how much this meal costs but it should be between MYR 14 to MYR 20.

Shaved Ice with Toppings (Ais Kacang) - MYR 6.90++ (10% service charge and 6% GST = MYR 8.06 nett). I shared this with my friends because it is too colourful to be eaten by one self.

Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang - MYR11.90++ 10% service charge and 6% GST (MYR13.85 nett). The portion is not big, just nice for an average appetite. The beef is tender and tasty. Cold Nescafe Coffee - MYR3.60++ (MYR4.20 nett).
