As my friend are craving for their fried rice, I must say it is one of a very good plate. Fried to perfection that the grains are filled with wok hei, dry enough that can be counted by each grans, topped with pork lard and ham. – a dish must order.
Naturally, we opted for their signature one pork bone soup @ RM18.90. And like many other pork bone soups, Popo’s is also simmered for a long time. But they don’t add evaporated milk into the broth to achieve that milky white appearance and creamy texture.
For example, if you order the Superior Pork Bone Soup, they will make that soup specially for you. It may take a while for them to get the soup ready for you, but trust me, it’s worth it. If you look at the picture above, that’s what we got and how our soup looks like when it arrived at our table. A pot of soup with lots of ingredients and a big pork bone. No wonder it taste so good already.
