Reasons to visit Villa Danieli Sheraton Imperial KL: new chef new menu; setting resembling a Tuscan villa; must try the chef’s signature pumpkin and sage risotto.
My favourite was the Beetroot Gnocchi with Creamy Gorgonzola Cheese. Loved the chewiness and bite! It had a nice balance of flavours – beetroot was subtle but was not overpowered by the cheese
Beef Short Ribs with Caponata was delicious. Tender, moist and juicy beef cooked in a delicious sauce.
Reasons to visit: Excellent value with additional benefits to certain credit/debit card holders; a unique Sunday brunch experience in KL – great mix between buffet, pass around dishes and mains prepared a la minute; don’t miss the risotto, pasta, grilled prawns, the onion bread and the chocolate calzone.
All in all, we enjoyed our Sunday afternoon at Villa Danieli and felt that it’s worth recommending for anyone looking for a relaxed yet somewhat fine-dining buffet. I wouldn’t say the food is superb but the price matches the value of what you get – luxurious interior, ambiance and superb service.
Reasons to visit: A chance to feast on the creations of a Michelin star chef while enjoying reasonable Malaysian prices. The setting, food and wine mix perfectly to create an enjoyable and satisfying night out that will give you a glimpse into the mind and talents of a real culinary artist.
I love Porcini. Tasty, low in calories and awesome source of protein, potassium, zinc, selenium and Vitamin B. A yummy lunch at Villa Danieli last week was a nutritious Porcini affair from the start till the end. Totally delish and honestly, I would love to return again before the Porcini promotion ends on 31 October 2016. The menu is pretty straight forward. Available for lunch and dinner with vegetarian options too! Service is always prompt and friendly at Villa Danieli. Ran through the menu, made our pick, sat back to enjoy my choice of wine and nibbled on the breads. As usual, my advise is to go easy on the breads because they are really delicious and filling.
We fell in love with Italian Head Chef Gaetano di Stefano's cooking after trying the white asparagus promotion at Villa Danieli, Sheraton Imperial KL. So, on Sunday, we returned to check out the Italian Prosecco Brunch, happening every Sunday from 11am to 3pm. Diners can choose from these 3 options: food only (RM148 nett per person, RM74 nett kids ( 9-12 years old)), with free-flow red, white wine, beer, soft drinks, chilled juices, coffee & tea (RM198 nett per person) or with free-flow Prosecco and other beverages listed previously (RM 238 nett per person).
