The replica of the ship is about 34m high, 36m in length and 8m wide. It was quite interesting for the kids to walk around the ship, as well as climb up the upper deck to have a look around, especially since Daniel has been learning about Explorers in school last year. They offer audio guides in different languages to visitors (additional cost). A fine way to learn some history along the way!

Butterfly & Reptile Sanctuary is a tourist attraction in Ayer Keroh, about 15km northeast of Malacca town. Also known as Taman Rama Rama & Reptilia Melaka, it is home to a collection of animals ranging from beautiful butterflies to snakes, lizards, crocodiles, and koi fishes.
For a 30-year-old park, the place is well maintained, spread over 5 hectares and set amidst lush, tropical surroundings. There are dedicated areas within the vast park for butterflies, reptiles, birds, etc. It’s also a nice place to escape Melaka’s blistering heat. Entry is RM22 per pax.
