Overall, it was a great family hangout even though it is very far from Kluang for us. Outside the farm, you can experience holding the baby crocodile and taking picture with it for RM20/pax. For your information, you can even buy their crocodile egg too at RM10/egg. The egg is big but it does not taste like chicken egg. It taste more awful than chicken egg. Nonetheless, it is a great place to visit if you are passing by or leaving nearby here. Definitely not worth it if you are coming from far away. As you can finished the tour within an hour.

The entrance fee is RM8 for adults and RM4 for children. You pay RM20 if you want to feed the crocodiles, which we did. A young chap escorted us through the crocodile farm. He was armed with a bucket of chicken carcasses and called the crocodiles from the pond. Surprisingly the crocodiles knew what was going on, came up and waited for their food!

It's a shame that we did not visit the Crocodile Farm along Upper Serangoon Road before it ends its operation in 2012. The only crocodile farm left in Singapore is Long Kuan Hong Crocodile Farm, situated at New Tiew Crescent and is not open to public. Hence, during our drive-in to Johor Bahru last year, we decided to drop by Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm to have an up close experience with the crocodiles. Housing more than 1000 saltwater crocodiles, including a 130-year old toothless crocodile, they are of different sizes and ages. Many crocodiles are lurking within the lake in the centre of the farm, which explains why it is blocked off and visitors are not allowed to get close to the lake.

Even though the restaurant is located by the seaside, the food is not cheap at all. Nevertheless, I have no complain about the food. Above all, the food is halal and can be consumed by Muslim. But the only thing I enjoy while dining here is the scenic tranquil rural setting by the seaside that I cant find in KL:)

This crocodile conservation centre-cum-tourist attraction is actually run by a noble reptilian lover who then passed on the business to his descendent due to old age, which eventually got inherited to his daughter to preserve the heritage. The daughter who was also our tourguide at the farm then, explains to us that these reptiles are actually a lovely lot and can be quite vulnerable depending on situation, apart from the usual intimidating facts that we knew about them generally. “They can be the King when in the water, but not necessarily when on land”, she says.

The crocodiles typically hardly move and most of them are enjoying their time sunbathing. However when it comes to feeding time, get ready to click your cameras away as the crocodiles turn into ferocious beasts. For the strong hearted, you can experience a one to one time with the babies crocodile on the farm.
