Despite being nothing Louisiana about it, the Creamy Asam Pedas sauce may be their best one yet. Asam pedas pairs excellently with seafood, this is no exception. We had it with the Crab Coma (2 pcs of XXL crab) and found that the spicy and tangy flavor really accentuates the natural sweetness of the crab, or any kind of shellfish. Truly finger licking good and I highly recommend it.

Seafood Bag (Freshwater prawns) is our favourite. It comes with 500gm Freshwater prawns and 200gm King prawns. The seafood was fresh, juicy and goes perfectly well with the spicy lip-smacking sauce (Signature Southern Bang). With an additional cheese on top, yum!! Cheese + Seafood + Spicy Sauce = YUM!! Noodles for those who do not want to eat seafood with their hands. There are a few choices and the selected one here is Mi Xian (Rice Noodle) with Freshwater Prawns at MYR 16.90++ (10% service charge and 6% GST = MYR 19.70 nett).

It was back in 2014 that I bought takeaway from Crab Factory, PJ. Only after about 3 years, I stepped into this eatery again to dine in for lunch. We ordered from the individual ala carte menu instead of the combo value meals menu because we know what we wanted to eat here. All individual ala carte orders were served with corns, potatoes and fried mini mantao (buns).

How can anyone resist a feast of the freshest seafood doused in an aromatic blend of seasonings and spices with all the rustic fixings like sausages, potatoes and sweet corn? Trust me, you might be up to your elbows in drippings at the table, but by the time you are done, there wont be a drop of goodness left.
