Marinara Aglio Pasta at MYR 38.90+ (6% SST = MYR 41.25 nett) from the ala carte menu. As per our request for no salt, this dish is not salty at all but is still very flavourful due to the fresh seafood so we are pleased with their good service of fulfilling our special requirement.

All in all, I like the warm interior and spaciousness of the place which makes it an ideal venue if you're looking for a nice, quiet place to have dinner...and a conversation (one that's obviously a lot less hectic and noisy than some of the other restaurants in this mall) ^_~ The food, though not outstanding but certainly more than average, is still decent enough in my books for a repeat visit as there are lots more on the menu to try.

Seafood Risotto RM39.90 Our favourite in D Empire Restaurant. Risotto is getting more common in Kuala Lumpur but not all done it right, sometimes over rich, sticky and way too difficult to finish. D Empire version is surprisingly delicious! Creamy gravy but not cloying, thickly coated to rice that is still hard at the centre of grain. Tossed with mussels, squid, prawns and clams.

Grilled Seabass (RM 46.90) One of my favorites of the day, the sea-bass is being grilled till perfection and leaves them with the flaky textures. The spicy coulis delights which is blend with the combination capers, olives, tomatoes and jalapenos in it.

D’Empire serves modern fine European cuisine. Helmed by Chef Dallan Tan, the menu is filled with an assortment of dishes from starters, salad, soup to main course, pizza, pasta and more. With more than a decade of experience in the industry, Chef Dallan specializes in French and Italian cuisine. For an establishment that is so regal looking, the prices on the menu seemed very fair and affordable.

For some great foods at incredible prices, we recommend that you try the D empire. It has a nice quiet ambience that couples and quiet families can take advantage of away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the mall. We will definitely make a return visit again someday!
