Dosirak (Korean packed lunchbox) Set (deep fried shrimps) - about MYR14.90 and I gave half my rice and 1 shrimp to my friend. It is a well-rounded meal with rice, vegetables, shrimps, soup and tea.
Hae Mul Pa Jeon (RM28) The Korean pancake that is more expensive that either of our main meal but this, this is special to it's own and it's really, really good. Even though they fry it together with chilli (see the huge one in the picture) but you can't really taste the chilli, in fact, you'll be overwhelmed by the awesome dough of the pancake with the mixture of seafood and vegetable. You HAVE to dip it in the sauce. I have no idea how it's done but it tasted magical so it's worth every ringgit.
Overall Rating: 7.5/10. Bypassing the unhappy server, I had a decent meal. The dishes that I sampled was delicious - the barbecued beef was scrumptious (missed the picture for this one), the kimchi soup fantastic and the banchan selection superb. A decent Korean restaurant in PJ definitely worth dropping by.
We usually spend about RM 30+ per person for a wholesome dinner here. Expect to pay a bit more if soju is involved, and alternatively you can order single dishes or go without BBQ meat to stay within a more limited budget. Whatever your decision, don’t forget to order the kimchi jiggae.
Overall, The price is affordable, variety of choices and the portion is quite big but the rice is slightly pricey, one bowl of tiny minnie rice cost RM5.
My favorite Kim Chi Soup Having this since 4 years ago, and i did try for other restaurant but too bad there is no others can beat this kim chi soup! Love this so much! Highly Recommended !
