      Verdict: Definitely hits and misses on food, but overall I still willing to revisit as the food is quite suit my taste bud (based on my few visits). Oh ya, reminder to all, Fong Lye only accept cash payment, so prepare enough cash if you plan to dine in here. ^__*

          Beef Stew cooked and served just at the right timing succulent meat still remain juicy tender while radish is well soaked with essences of the stew, overall texture was smooth yet flavourful. This Taiwanese Beef Stew tastes differently compared to the Vietnamese version where it has an extra spices flavour in it.

            Meesua came in a thick broth. The flavour was just so-so though. Too salty, and the intestines weren’t cleaned well and still had a gamey smell to it. The meal came served with ‘banchan’-like side dishes of marinated eggplant, a sweet potato ball and tofu.

              Speaking of soups, I must point it out that the soup that came with the set was rather superiorly boiled as well. The soup varies, but most of the time they serve radish soup. If you dig in the bowl, you’ll find a big slice of pork, some clams, and a generous piece of radish. So the soup wasn’t bland at all.

                We managed to skip dessert as we were quite full. Anyway, if I were to rate this restaurant, it'll be a 7 out of 10. Points scored for the crispy chicken and mee suah but points deducted for the pork and rice dish.

                  Sesame Chicken Mee Sua Set – RM19.80 It tasted like a serving of confinement soup and I loved it. Aromatized with sesame and with hints of rice wine, the chicken was smooth and enjoying it with my favourite mee sua was a very good idea.
