#FrameThaiSeksyen17 #AuthenticThaiFoodCraving for some authentic Thai Food but not sure where to go? Worry not and head over to Frame Thai @ Happy Mansion, S...
I went for the grilled pork skewers (three pieces – RM10) and spicy sausage. Both were really tasty and great with rice. The sausage had a strong flavour of lemongrass and sported a chewy casing that contrasted nicely with the mushiness of the mashed meat on the inside. Pork skewers were grilled and basted to sweet perfection, smoky, tender and juicy. Meat lovers will really enjoy this – I certainly did 😀
Fried Basil Leave with Pork (RM 10), Pork Leg with Rice (RM 10), as well as Noodle in Thickened Soup (RM 7) not only looks terrific but decently portioned as well. Add on the BBQ stuff. Grilled Pork Neck (RM 4) was delicious tender and juicy and best to go with some beer.
The very deceptive pork noodle soup. Like most Thai food, this one packs a lot of heat from the soup and chili. I was taken back by how spicy it was, given how clear the soup was. Still, you shouldn't waste even a drop of it. Served in a larger-than-usual coconut shelf but smaller than a big bowl, I wouldn't say it's a substantial portion but anymore and your butt (hole) will be in hell for the next couple of days.
It was a super duper yummy Thai Food. Second visit?? Definitely big YES!! Food takes some time to arrive as it was busy during lunch hours and also quite difficult to get their attention to take our order. Other than that, it's good. They do sell some Thailand drinks and snacks.
Never ordered any drinks in Frame Thai, as we felt that it was quite expensive for RM5 per glass. In short, our experience in Frame Thai isn’t that bad, but not exceptionally good either. Food taste was fine, considered overpriced but still within acceptable range. Worth a try? Still yes, in case you are nearby Seksyen 17 PJ and looking for a filling meal cost below RM20.
Verdict: Expensive, considering the small portions. Try the skewered pork and pork leg rice if you were to visit.
A Thai meal is not complete without a fierce and hot Tom Yum soup. The tom yum soup here comes with lots of ingredients which makes the soup taste so good. Spotted some fresh prawns, squid, fish fillet, lots of coriander, chops of lemongrass, chili, and lots of spring onion. Can't stop drinking this.
This pork leg rice is my favourite at Frame Thai. The pork meat is very tender with just nice amount of fat. The gravy goes very well with the brown rice. As far as I see, Frame Thai only serves brown rice. RM 10.00
