At the lounge, whilst sipping your favourite martini, whether stirred or shaken, the view of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and the illumination from the surroundings makes a stunning masterpiece to behold. The Lounge makes an impressive beverage menu with cocktails being the specialty and is conducive for before and after dinner cocktails and digestives.
At the Grill, enjoy a well-designed dinner in a cosy yet stylish atmosphere. The Grill offers arguably the best steaks with different fine cuts. Gobo Upstairs' team of fine chefs maintains that the best way to enjoy a piece of steak is to have it grilled and that is exactly how they will prepare it for their guests and to their preference. Gobo Upstairs, Traders Hotel, Kuala Lumpur: Of Tomahawk and ScallopsMy boy, who is a big scallop fan, loved the seared scallops (he had two!) - plump and juicy, served with butter corn miso foam with bottarga and the crispiest spinach tempura. So delicious!
The scallops were sweet tasting and fresh, making them perfect for a carpaccio dish. The thinly sliced raw scallops were topped with orange segments, wild rocket and yuzu dressing.

Gobo Upstairs New Year Eve MenuOf course, Gobo Upstairs has the benefit of a closeup KLCC view, and for a more aerial view, the Skybar upstairs, so really, this seems an ideal venue to spend NY Eve. Of course, it won't be cheap, but then again, it is a top notch hotel, and top notch venue, so as the Chinks would say, one ounce of money for one ounce of goods. (yutt fun cheen yutt fun for). So privileged to have been invited for a preview of the NY Eve menu, I reckon for the RM398 per person, the food you're getting is really good value.
