So sampai KSL hotel, tanya juga masa di Lobby. Berapa harga semalam. Then katanya Rm150 semalam. Untuk Superior Room. Rasanya laaaa.. Cik mimi tak tau sangta jenis jenis bilik. Haha.. Then kami inform nak keluar esoknya pukul 6petang. Katanya tambahan Rm70. So total Rm220.

Our Superior Twin room is rather spacious and comes with a Queen size bed and a single bed. The interior is a bit dated but the cleanliness was overall satisfying.

Overall, TROVE is a clean and value for money place for a short stay. It is great for business travellers too. Location isn't the best in my opinion but what's lacking is the service. It is a hotel with great potential and to be honest, I really wouldn't mind giving this place a second chance to get things up and running.

Oh... I am glad to note that TROVE is a smoke free hotel - one of my pet peeves is stale tobacco smell in the carpet, curtains and bed linen. No such issues at TROVE.

The master room is spacious with wood flooring. The bed frame offers a dreamy/ princess look. At one side, there is a wardrobe to store your clothes and luggage. Only one thing I don't like is lack of privacy there when my room is facing others' rooms which people at the opposite side could easily see you if you did not close your curtain. And I have few times forgotten to close it. LOL

We took up their family room located on the 6th floor as the other room on the 5th is occupied. Family room is priced at RM200 per night, plus a deposit (refundable upon check out) of RM50. If you need another key card, another deposit of RM50 (refundable) is required.

As mentioned above, the DoubleTree Hotel JB is in a great location for downtown attractions, shopping and transport. We could walk to Komtar in about 5 minutes and there are also some nice looking restaurants within moments if you want more choices for food.

For those of us who like spacious hotel rooms, you’ll be pleased to know that the guest rooms here are quite spacious, and this King Executive Room was no different. There was plenty of space for 2 large luggages to be laid out and still prance about.

On the right would be the Suasana Suites Cafe; those who stay in the hotel section would dine at the cafe for their daily breakfast. Given its height, it's granted you would get a good view of JB city skyline.

What is the difference between Standard Room and an Executive Room? Obvioulsy - it's concept, of course. Standard Room provide accomodation with or without additional "extra" while Executive Room or Business Suite definition caters for accommodation per specific requirements; for dining, working and relaxation.

Executive Suites ni ada banyak pilihan jika korang nak stay. Bagi Sis yang datang berdua dengan anak, Sis amik aje yang 1 bedroom, so dalam bilik menempatkan satu buah katil King. Tapi jika korang datang family, lebih dari 4 orang, korang boleh amik Executive Suites 2 bedroom atau 3 bedroom. Yang itu memang sangat luas dan puashati!!.

Kami menginap di Thistle Johor Bahru! Dekat dengan Pantai Lido, Danga Bay, Training Center JDT and nak ke Senibong dalam 20 minit berkereta. ZZ Sup Tulang dalam 8 minit je. Let's check it out apa yang best kat Thistle ni. Oh, aku tak include breakfast kali ni.

Namun secara keseluruhan, I really enjoyed staying in Thistle Johor Bahru walaupun saya tak dapat feel 5 stars vibes itu. Entahlah! Seperti ada sesuatu yang missing disitu. Feel nya tidak seperti yang saya dapati sewaktu menginap di Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur, Alila Bangsar dan St. Regis KL sebelum ini.

#3 Swimming Pool. Swimming pool yang mengadap Singapore sememangnya memberi satu kelainan kepada mek walaupun mengadap bangunan Singapore pada pinggir selat sahaja. Kolam renang ada dua, kanak-kanak dan juga dewasa. Pada masa mek ke sana tak crowded sangat and memang best lah menyelam di kolam renang Berjaya Waterfront Hotel Johor Bahru. Sambil anak mandi kolam, mek boleh ‘nap’ kat atas kerusi rehat.

Overall saya kasi rating 9/10 untuk Legoland hotel ni. Sememangnya berbaloi untuk menginap disini dan lagi awesome kalau dapat rate bawah RM400-500... Pasal Covid19 ni aje Legoland bagi diskaun kaw-kaw, kalau tak jangan harap lah!

Overall, the journey to the Legoland Hotel is perfect where we really enjoyed till the fullest. AS for nearby attraction, one of course can visit Legoland which is just next to it . They also have a mall next to Legoland Hotel where there is a BIG Supermarket, eateries like KFC, I Love You YOO, Absolute Thai and many more.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. It suited our needs perfectly and was also a nice place to hang out. It is also a very cost effective alternative to staying in Singapore if you want to visit the attractions on the Malaysian side of the border, such as Legoland.
