As mentioned above, the DoubleTree Hotel JB is in a great location for downtown attractions, shopping and transport. We could walk to Komtar in about 5 minutes and there are also some nice looking restaurants within moments if you want more choices for food.

For those of us who like spacious hotel rooms, you’ll be pleased to know that the guest rooms here are quite spacious, and this King Executive Room was no different. There was plenty of space for 2 large luggages to be laid out and still prance about.

Centrally located, it has ample dining options around the area but overall the hotel was less ideal for a quiet and relaxing staycation. The hotel was constantly full of guests at any time of the day.

DoubleTree JB is located really near LEGOLAND and an hour’s drive to Kota Tinggi Waterfall and super close to the Daiman 18 Golf Club which makes it ideal for a weekend staycation. I've suggested to the boy that we do a Malaysian road trip again soon - where we'll start with one night at the hotel (he can play his golf while I lounge by the pool and eat my cookie) then continue our drive up to Malacca for the most amazing FOOD before making our way up to KL for shopping and more food.
