I was really excited to discover Nasi Lemuni (RM 10) is available here. Prepared freshly from lemuni leaves planted at the compound of Jawi House, together with blue telang flower then flavoured with garlic, ginger, lemongrass and coconut milk, the rice is unique on its taste. It exhibits a mild herbal scent, with a minimum hint of bitterness derived from the lemuni after the sweetness from the spices. A subtle flavour and definitely enjoyable.
Environment here is nice, it has the Jawi-Peranakan touch to it.
