Verdict: The portion of the set meal is more that substantial that can feed up to 5 persons or 6 persons for small eater. There were leftover of 4 fried chicken, some BBQ meat, 2 bowls of rice, as well as some of the pancake, of course without wasting any food, we tapao-ed those food back home. The food didn’t quite live up to my expectation and I’m not sure if I will come back again.
Verdict: The food was authentic and memorably good, of course very wallet friendly too. Revisit? Definitely!
Verdict: Food here was less exciting and the choices were limited. Seem like I still have to stick to our old Dim Sum places (THIS & THIS) for a little while…… 囧
Verdict: Like most of the Hong Kong Cha Chan Teng, the menu is extensive and the choices are sufficient to please everyone of all ages. Food wise, nothing too outstanding but still a viable option if you’re looking for some Hong Kong style fare in this area.
Their Signature is indeed da bomb! Toped with creme brulee
One of the highlights here is their Hokkien Mee . Their Hokkien Mee is beautifully stir fried till perfection leaving you with the light char version and also the aromatic hint and fragrance. Their noodles is simply good and delicious too.
Well, I have tried a few outlet of Xing Fu Tang even all the way for Xing Fu Tang in Penang. Conclusion is different outlet different taste but this branch in Kepong is pretty good. Love the brown sugar taste which is slightly quite strong, the little biting crips from the burnt sugar and fresh milk is prominent. the flavors blend well.
With their signature drink is a must try for first timer – Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk @ RM 12.90. Love the balance of the sugar and milk and do note that there will no adjustment to be made from our usual order. Even though this drink is pretty good, but I find it quite pricey.
Best drink - Matcha mixture, RM12.90. It has a few step before can taste Matcha mixture. My good friend enjoy to pour it slowly and we taste it together once it complete to pour!
