Here's the location.
Jaloux is a small place with not many seating place but it is a comfortable place to dine in.
Jaloux on King Street in George Town, Penang (right next to Wa Coffee Cafe) is touted as the place for pasta. The air-conditioned cafe with a heritage old look was opened recently by the same people behind Cozy in the Rocket at Armenian Street which has since ceased operations. While we were there for lunch, the tables were filled with mostly working locals. Pasta is on the lunch and dinner menu in addition to risotto and several other small dishes of grilled country bread, cold cuts, pork bacon and ham.
I highly recommend Lap Mei Fan (腊味饭, RM39.90).
The signature dish here at Red Courtyard is most definitely the hotpot 火锅, and there are options of beef or pork. As with all hotpots, the key element to the dish is the broth that brings it all together, and not forgetting the condiments. All the chilli sauce (available for sale too) are made from scratch. Be prepared for a total palate awakening with the punchy and spicy ones
Caze by Buu's Kitchen is a comfortable place to dine in, the environment is nice and service is good.
Wondering where for dinner? Try out the new cafe in town -- Caze by Buu's Kitchen, Lebuh King!!
Environment here is nice and their service is good too. I love their food here, will definitely come back for more.
Sam Thalia is a wonderful place to visit with your friends and family.
The Durian Souffle was nicely done... perfectly puff and light but not overly sweetened.
This is best eaten with a spoonful of rice, vegetables, and fish.
The Egg Benedict was carefully cooked with a great consistency- the Eggs were perfectly poached but the Hollandaise sauce could carry bolder flavor.
I personally like their Polo Bun.
Kampung Nights, E & O Hotel RM198nett per adult, RM118nett per child/senior
Dining here is really nice, the environment is good and the food is tasty too. If you walk out from Sarkies, you can actually see the beautiful sea view just behind E&O hotel.
After a while of MCO, E & O Hotel is backed with the usual unlimited ala-carte and buffet lunch. This round a bit different is the add-in of dim sum series. For those that love to eat dim sum, you don’t need to go far. E & O Sarkies is serving the fresh and delightful dim sum. For my personal preference, I love the har gao (shrimp dumpling) here, where the shrimp inside is bouncy and fresh, the outer coat is thin and soft. It is one of the best in town.
Penang is famous for its Peranakan culture, particularly the well-known Baba Nyonya community. Established in 1933 as a kuih-specializing factory, Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Koay expanded to include a storefront in 2016, showcasing a remarkable commitment to Nyonya kueh.
Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Kuih has earned the prestigious Bib Gourmand status in the 2023 Michelin Guide KL and Penang list.
Moh Teng Pheow Nonya Koay was where we headed for our fix of Nonya Kuehs. Having visited Jason’s Nonya House and still craving for Nonya fare, we found Moh Teng Pheow Nonya Koay a popular venue for koahs such as Kueh Lapis, Kueh Talam and Kueh Bengka.
It was a night of splendor with the luxuriousness of ambiance, service and exquisite scrumptious cuisine.
虽然已经在槟城有稳稳地名誉和口碑了 他们也一直在提升自己,把料理做得更好。
Farquhar Mansion is a fine dining restaurant near Eastern & Oriental Hotel.
Lavish Fusion Bakery is located at a heritage shop along the bustling Victoria Street and is ornamented with pink walls, plants, and beautiful mural art which depict the elements of strong nature, tropical and beach vibes.
But on the other hand, Wild Berries Lemonade captured our heart with its amazing taste. A taste featuring the sour and sweetness that triggers the senses in unexpected ways, YUM!! Wild Berries Lemonade @ RM 17.20
Roasted chicken Green Curry at about MYR 28.5 where the green curry gravy is served in the very small glass container shown ini the photo.
The name "Tok Tok" originates from the onomatopoeic sound a chef makes while kneading noodle dough with a bamboo pole, a tradition still observed at the entrance of this establishment.
The taste of the wantan mee are almost the same as before despite the chewiness of the noodle not as much and the gravy is more starchy. As for the Char Hor Fun, the taste is packed with wok aroma.
Tok Tok Mee Noodle House, used to known as Hong Kee Wantan Noodle now is operate by the next generation where the legacy of bamboo noodle was passed down. The taste of the wantan mee are almost the same as before despite the chewiness of the noodle not as much and the gravy is more starchy. As for the Char Hor Fun, the taste is packed with wok aroma.
The moment you enter the aesthetically rustic space, thou shall sense that this is the perfect spot for any coffee aficionado- particularly specialty coffee. The soothing coffee aroma that is wafting through the air easily set your mood at ease. And that makes it the perfect moment to slowly unwind the day with a good cuppa along some hearty nosh.
Olive Oil Zucchini Bread (MYR 13) Comes with some sea salt sprinkles and whirl of smooth crème fraîche.
Both Cafe Latte (H) and (I) taste simply delicious. A beautiful combination of coffee and almond milk that packs a punch, delicious and smooth. In addition, what I love about this cafe is that they don't charge extra for Almond Milk. Sounds great right.
When it comes to pasta offerings, expect to tuck into the Seafood Risotto prepared with al dente Arborio rice. The creamy umami-rich risotto with many flavors and ingredients of tiger prawn, clams, calamari, and semi-dried tomato offers abundant heartiness.
Carbonara Smoked Duck – RM28, Smoked Duck Slices, Carbonara Cream, Egg Yolk, Speghetti Parmesan Cheese & Fresh Egg Yolk, Cracked a la minute. Even though this dish is not the signature here, yet the taste of this dish was simply delicious. The fresh eggs yolk made the pasta creamy when mixed together. On the other hand, the taste of the smock duck slices were tender and packed with aroma.
Was a bit disappointed la cause they looked like a restaurant/cafe that has it all. But then again, there were quite a lot of food items on their menu. But the Salted Egg Yolk Pasta is really the bomb!
Nevertheless, we are sold and would come back again for their croissant, and to try its other offerings.
That Sunday morning, weather was lovely that after waking up at the cozy bed of Deluxcious Hotel, we immediately retun to Le Petit for another round of visit, haha.
Reasons to Kota Dine & Coffee @ Fort Cornwallis: an experience founded in history taking guests from the past to the present with contemporary cooking techniques founded on Penang flavours all in the grounds of the historic Fort Cornwallis; the food is beautiful, delicious and very reasonably priced; remember to use your entrance ticket to the fort for RM10 food credit for each diner..

他们位于槟城古迹Fort Cornwallis 里头的纯白玻璃屋,而菜单是以娘惹餐结合西方精致料理文化,给大家带来与众不同的娘惹用餐体验。
♥Verdict: Good ambiance and environment. Food wise, I can’t comment much on it since I only tried one dish but it was good, nonetheless.

We enjoyed their Pumpkin and Prawn Rissoto (RM 32) much. The mushy sweet pumpkin blended flawlessly with the rissoto, along with a tad of earthy note introduced by the shimeji mushrooms and handful of herbs rendered the dish appealing.
