            The SeniKome Péng Hēng, East Coast Arts & Cultural Centre is a place where exploration and inspiration come together. Located at Level 3 of First World Plaza, the centre features a thematic showcase of art and cultural essences from Peninsular Malaysia’s East Coast states, Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan.

              'Seni Kome' means 'Our Art'. The word 'Kome' is from the local dialect used the locals of Pahang and also certain states in Malaysia. 'Peng Heng', the name of stated in the historical documents of the Ming Dynasty in the 1520's, referred to areas in the East Coast regions of the Malay Peninsula. 'Seni Kome, Peng Heng' will therefore refer to exhibition that will display the local arts and culture of the community in the East Coast regions namely Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan.

                  Overall, I really recommend this place to parents who were in this generation or at the end of this generation to bring your kids to learn what you have used to do in your childhood. Apart of that, do bring your foreign friends here to know something about Malaysia. This is the best place to provide such knowledge. Let the knowledge pass on from generation to generation and spread from countries to countries.

                    It appears like an exhibition hall, yet not. At the entrance ticket price of just RM7 for adult (Genting Member), RM5 for kids (Genting Member), it is worth spending some educational moments in SenKome. Walk through the space filled with introduction of East Coasts, appreciate the arts and crafts they still holds stong to till today, and then enjoy a wide ranges of traditional games that reminiscene the good old childhood days.

                      Love to explore culture and heritage? Why not check out the SeniKome Peng Heng exhibition happening at Resorts World Genting. "Seni Kome" actually means "Our Art" in the local Pahang dialect.                         Walking inner side and you will see the old weapon like Keris that been used by warrior during the days. At a corner, you will be seeing a wide range of traditional music instruments. You can get a chance to try the instrument on the spot.

                            SeniKome PengHeng, East Coast Arts & Cultural Centre is a place where exploration and inspiration come together featuring a thematic showcase of visual and performing arts, and cultural essences from Peninsular Malaysia’s East Coast states, Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan from July to September. Good news to the traditional art enthusiasts. You may want to pay a visit to the centre in these two months when different art formed are showcased every weekend.

                              Overall, SeniKome Péng Hēng is worth checking out as it offers a whole new, different experience during my visit to Genting Highlands. My advice is, simply spend an hour or two here and surround yourselves with the vibrant elements of Malaysian heritage.
