Living up to its reputation, the Hainanese kopi mixed with tea was indeed delicious, and the coffee itself fragrant, well-balanced and moderately “kaw”. A nice change from Western All Day Breakfast, a meal here is comforting and soul-food for those who long for nostalgia, but at premium prices. Kopi average about RM4 per cup while the toast varieties are from RM5 to 8 (approx).
What do We Like about Thong Kee @ Sea Park? -The many varieties for breakfast directly from Thong Kee instead of the individual stalls -The organized table and ordering system. Can clearly see some serious thoughts being put in to improve the process flow, impressive -The beverages and foods are reasonably priced
Unlike most Hainanese breakfast eateries, Thong Kee’s specialty is their homemade croissants which is what makes them unique.Thong Kee Cafe at Seapark, Petal...
Nice croissant, and pretty good Ipoh Hor Fun.
Thong Kee Cafe Sea Park, Petaling Jaya is famous for its fresh homemade unique Hainan Croissant, Bread, Bun, Donuts and Hainan Coffee for breakfast.
The croissants & toast were good (as always). It could be slightly pricey, but as long as it is delicious.. I think it's 'value for money'.. 😉
奶茶就很香浓,可是并没达到令我惊艳的地步。
I'd say the signature dish here are definitely the Hoilam Cha, worth trying if you need a "Coffee Gao" one to start the day, and the home-made Croissnat is also worth a try!
Breakfast for 2 before going to work. I had to finish the croissant after my friend took a bite because she does not like the taste of butter in it. She did not expect it to have butter as it was supposed to be a ham and egg croissant, with no mention of butter whereas I am indifferent to it.
I like the "美姐咖喱面", comes with ChaSiew, bean curd, tao fu pok, bean sprout, and cockles with a nice curry soup. Enjoyed it with the beehoon mee.
不少人推荐这里椰浆饭,饭还蛮香的。可是当天我要的血蚶参巴,竟然变成了啦啦参巴,难道是血蚶缺货?改成啦啦整个感觉都不一样了,我觉得还好而已。
The Hainan Iced Coffee (RM2.70) was one of the best we’ve had in Petaling Jaya. The coffee was super thick and aromatic, excellent for those who need their caffeine boost in the morning.
RM7.90 for a pastry in a local Hainanese cafe seems relatively expensive. Like, you could have got a large plate of Char Kuey Teow or Seafood Noodle or something even better with that price. But the croissant here actually worth a try because of the buttery flaky crust it had. Plus, it's pretty filling as well, just nice for breakfast
Promising broth, immersed with koay teow noodles, topped with long beans, bean sprouts, tofu, cockles, and pig skin. The soup was not bad, rich and flavourful with medium-spiciness, spicy aftertaste. Just the taste of curry powder was a little strong to us.
Thong Kee Coffee Shop in Seapark PJ has plenty to offer in terms of variety – this kopitiam that originated from Bentong serves good toasts and coffee/tea,
