Baked Oyster with Mentaiko, which is definitely a live live must try if you have not been to Triple Three at Mandarin Orchard Singapore.
So if you'd like to splurge on your hotel in Singapore, I would recommend this hotel for its location and of course the breakfast.
On the whole, while it was not a completely pleasant experience, I did enjoy my staycation. I had a peaceful time in my room and apart from the restaurant and reception, was made to feel welcomed by the staff. However, with those little less-than-stellar episodes, I would think twice about recommending the hotel to someone else. Particularly since not everyone would get to experience the housekeeping or room service staff, but everyone definitely has to go through the reception. In fact, I would think twice myself if I were to consider another staycation. Unless, of course, it was again set at an unbeatable price offer.
Overall, we find the room, the bed and the service of the hotel really live up to its reputation. Slightly disappointed with the breakfast, but base on the breakfast price that we paid, we should not expect a solid quality. Maybe Mandarin Orchard can consider charging a higher price for the breakfast, but improve on the quality. Thank you very much for the hospitality with Asian Grace :)
