        The White Prawns (RM52)and Bluefin Leatherjacket fish (RM22) we had were very fresh and sweet. Personally, we prefer to dunk these into the milder broths (tomato and mushroom broths) to better savour the fresh sweetness of the seafood and vegetables.

                Verdict: As a hotpot aficionado, I truly enjoyed my dining experience at Xiao Long Kan Hot Pot for its cheerful and ambient atmosphere as well as the fresh and nicely presented ingredients. Service was on point too. Albeit not cheap and not really a place that we can go very often but the prices are commensurated with the quality of ingredients (mostly imported) and service.

I love the amazing selection of meats, fresh vegetables, handmade meatballs, innards and offal in delicious traditional spicy soup which tastes just right for me, without being too numbing for the senses. 2. If you love spicy hotpot in the traditional Chinese way, here's the right place to fulfill your cravings. 3.                         Love the tomato soup base as it is sourish enough to my liking, slightly creamy from the beating of tomato and the thin layer of oil on top, is the fragrant of the soup. Must order if can.

                          Their Traditional Spicy Soup 紅油 is thick, spicy and aromatic – a popular favourite among hotpot lovers. Experience it for yourself to see why it’s much loved in China and worldwide! You could actually select the level of spiciness and if you’re a huge fan of Chengdu hotpot, you’ll definitely want to go for their level! We had the privilege to taste both Malaysian spicy version and Chengdu’s version (with more chilli and peppercorns added!)

                              XLK Spicy Chilli Beef 雙椒牛肉 – highly recommended. A random order that turned out unexpectedly good. “Shabu -shabu” it for 3 minutes and tuck into beef slices that lends a succulent texture like thinly sliced beef tongue.
