        Their chicken teriyaki is one of the signature too. Their chicken teriyaki is one of my favourites as they are well marinated with the teriyaki sauce and then being grilled till perfection. Nice and juicy each bites.

          Premium Loin Aburi (Torched) (RM 28) One can enjoy the premium A5 wagyu which is beautifully torched in front. You can savour the sliced wagyu which is served with the sea salt and every mouthful is awesomely good and delicious.

              I’m not a fan of buffets, unless they are of the Japanese cuisine type. I’m sure many of you share the same sentiments – a Japanese buffet can be rather hard to resist! Now there’s another reason to stuff our faces because Hana Dining lays out a sumptuous spread come Saturday and Sunday. Yes, the weekend is just the perfect time to round up some Japanese food lovers in your circle and head out to Hana Dining in Sunway Pyramid. The buffet is available for both lunch and dinner at: Lunch: 11.30am-3.00pm @ RM69 per person Dinner: 6.30pm -10.30pm @ RM79 per person Senior citizens get a discount of 20% (age 60 and above, show ID)

                Since the year of the Golden Rooster is just around the corner, Hana Dining have catered some CNY set menus that is highly recommended as they specially picked some of their most ordered or specialties that are surely to satisfy your tastebuds. RM538 for 6 pax

                  Since there were 6 of us, we had their set menu for 6 pax, which was loaded with too much modern Japanese goodness that I personally thought they were too much! Haha. RM538 for 6 pax

                    Hana Dining & Sake Bar in Sunway Pyramid has recently revamped their menu and we were invited to try out their signature course meal. The chefs draw inspiration from cuisines around Taiwan, Japan and Western countries to create Hana's unique fusion Japanese dishes. The Signature Course Meal is highly popular with restaurant guests as it showcases many of the restaurant's signature dishes and will appeal to diners looking for variety and quality at a good price. Diners can choose from the Signature Course Meal for 2 pax (RM130). 4 pax (RM280) and 6 pax (RM450). We sampled the latter, which comes with a total of 13 dishes, dessert and miso soup.

                      The spearhead and creative person for Hana is Head Chef Thomas Lim with vast experience under his belt that enables him to create multi bar snacks and fusion cuisine. A great place to enjoy some unique Japanese Cuisine and my favorite sake bottle is the first and last.

                        Among the items we tried on Hana Dining + Sake Bar Autumn New Menu 2015, Salmon Belly Maki Roll, Deep Fried Pumpkin Tofu and Engawa Temaki are our top favourite. Again, the second visit doesn’t disappoint. Still a strongly recommended restaurant for lunch or dinner in Sunway Pyramid.

                          Overall, our lunch at Hana was a pleasant one considering nothing we had was bad and some dishes even surpassed my expectations by far. I know I may sound biased because this was essentially a free meal but the food is undoubtedly great. I guess the 18 years of experience garnered by Hana back in Taiwan really helped them to develop awesome recipes and sauces that work.
