they were deliciously delicate and briny, with a portion exceeding that of the pillowy buttered bun, making it the perfect little top-up that I needed this afternoon.
I kinda enjoyed the clam chowder too. Not gonna wait long in line for them though.
The volume of meat exceeded the bread, even if the entire thing was pretty small; I literally ate it all within a minute or two.
It's too bad that they dropped the grilled cheese from the menu either way.
This was within Isetan Shaw House. The lobster was fresh, bouncy and faintly sweet. The bread roll was well toasted and crispy outside, fluffy inside. Not much flavour and kick though. No wonder there was no more queue here.
Another anticipated opening in Singapore is Luke’s Lobster. Located right inside Isetan on Orchard Road, it’s a pretty small area.
My lobster roll from Luke’s Lobster was definitely quite tasty, though it didn’t blow me away.
Come December, they will be launching Lobster or Crab Grilled Cheese and Lobster Mac & Cheese.
I enjoyed how the sweetness of the crab meat coming through the buttery bun.
After going to the Taiwan branch I've been missing Luke's Lobster for a bit
Luke’s Lobster is well worth seeking out if you haven’t had their lobster rolls before.
Judging from their opening in Tokyo, I am sure that there will be long queues forming from Wednesday which may last a few weeks.
The prices are way steeper than a regular fast food chain but for its quality and ethical sources, it is worth to indulge yourself with a well-assembled lobster roll once in a while.
Luke’s Lobster is one causal dining concept I used to visit whenever I am in Tokyo and now that it has landed on our shores, it is a treat worthy of a try given that I don’t foresee myself travelling any time soon.
The Lobster Roll was as fabulous as I remembered it to be, but I will be back to queue for the Lobster Grilled Cheese when it’s released.
