What do We Like about Marco, One Utama? -Lunch sets which were value for money
I had a very satisfying meal at Marco. The food is tasty, and the service is prompt and impressive. It kind of feels like having fine dining cuisine, but not as ‘frilly’ and at a much more affordable price.
Marco Creative Cuisine Review: comfortable pleasant setting; value-for-money meals; you can’t go wrong with just about any order (we each had our favourites with me loving the salad and soups and the boys drooling over the steaks and pasta); whatever you do though, don’t miss dessert – our top pick, the Bruleed Cheesecake; and cocktails are beaut too!
Verdict: 1. The wide-ranging unique and creative menu in MARCO makes it a great venue for those seeking for gastronomical pleasures without burning a hole in the pocket. 2. Recommended dishes: Bacon & Egg Spaghetti, Pork Loin Steak, Brulee Cheesecake
整体来说,食物和服务各样我都觉得不错,不过这个套餐要价RM188 我觉得太贵,像前菜那些味道还好的都可以省略掉,我下次来的话只专注于主食和甜点就好~
For my dining partner, he had gone for the seductive and rather alluring Texture of Chocolate.. This is one of the dessert that we found it to be really creative and sensation challenging as the description of it's ingredients that made this dish is really mind blogging! This chocolate dessert really sounds creative and alittle bit weird at the same time as we read along the description and found out that there was an element in this dessert which make us totally in awe on the combination of flavours between chocolate and dehydrated olive and cayenne pepper!
Although there were obviously some hits and misses where the food was concerned, the 5-star dining experience overall made me willing to overlook some of its shortcomings. The Good 1. Fine dining menu at its most affordable. 2. Great aesthetic pleasure from the food plating and presentation. 3. Quality ingredients (for the price paid). 4. Lovely ambience. The Not-So-Good 1. Appetiser and entrees could be improved. 2. Finer balance between good and overly attentive service. 3. Better way to provide detailed descriptions of the dishes.
最后推荐的这道主食,是全部里最让小编多米念念不忘的 Duck Breast with Orange Puree and Roasted Beetroot。

Recently opened Marco Creative Cuisine, is an experimental restaurant looking to introduce Malaysians to a fine food experience at a reasonable price. As you walk in, the blend of colors is reminiscent of Menorca, aqua marine blues, sandy beiges and pearly whites are simple and intentional, helping the diner focus more on selecting the culinary voyage, he or she would like to take.
All-in-all, MARCO offers a pause for hectic lifestyles and is a calming oasis in the midst of a busy mall. At MARCO, every meal is an opportunity to bond, connect, and reboot the mind and spirit. The ambience is elegant and sleek in warm rich tones with the accompaniment of a calming aquarium of jellyfish swaying gently in the water. For RM 78 only, diners get to enjoy a Full 7 Multi-Course Menu for lunch or dinner. The 7-course menu are truly super worthy, impressive in taste and presentation. For those who don't fancy a full course menu, you could also opt for a la carte menu available at RM18 per serving for soup & entree, RM35 per serving for main (+RM10 for Duck Breast) and RM20 per serving for desserts.
Truly an unforgettable journey of flavours, Marco Creative Cuisine has really brought dining on to a whole new level. Never has finely presented modern cuisine been so reasonably priced and every course keeps getting better. If you’re a small eater, a la carte menu of all the dishes are also available. It’s one of those dining experience that you just can’t wait to go back to try again!
1. I love this place and the foods! Look at the huge aquarium with jellyfish swaying gently in the water, it's like an instant mood boost on hectic days when i'm feeling tense. 2. Fine dining without burning a hole in the pocket. 3. Their staff are friendly and well-trained, so the vibe not too stuffy or intimidating, despite this is fine dine concept restaurant. 4. Recommended dishes: French Onion Soup, Duck Breast with Orange Puree and Roasted Beetroot, Squid Ink Japonica Rice, Raspberry Decadence, Deconstructed Lemon Meringue Pie (if you are sweet tooth)
Verdict: It was indeed a rock bottom deal with the affordable price of RM78 per person for a 7-course meal. Food was on a stellar level paired with impeccable service, simply too awesome that you shouldn’t miss it! Booking is recommended (at least 3 days in advance.)
When I first heard that MARCO Creative Cuisine in 1 Utama shopping mall is introducing a fine dining concept, my first concern is, "Would it be expensive?" To my surprise, the 7-course meal I try here is only RM78 including drinks / coffee / tea!
Evolve from Miam Miam, to Franco and to Marco, they had again rebrand themselves to Marco Creative Cuisine. The new concepts comes impressive and it is indeed a brave decision for them to evolve and bringing their dreams to their customers.
Likes: Affordable casual dining. Dislikes: More misses than hits. Rather have ala carte than fixed sets. 6 courses for RM78
