Piatti Di Agnello (RM60) Juicy and tender char-grilled US pork rack (250gm), served with baked tomato and orzo with green pea. Cooked to tender and slightly charred on the surface, this pork rack was lip smackingly delicious!
Would I go back to Enorme? Absolutely. I don't think it is a place I would put into my list of favourites just yet, but to be fair, I have only tried 3 dishes so far.
Verdict: Enorme is possibly one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to so far, and I’d gladly recommend it to everyone! Prices are a bit steep, but hey, you’re paying for really good food. Would come back to try something else on special occasions. 🙂
Price-wise, we felt it was reasonable enough; not too pricey but at the same time, we can’t be paying for this kind of food everyday. Glad they served free filtered water instead of making diners pay for overpriced bottled water.
At RM 84, you'd think that it'll make you poop rainbows but that's really because you are paying for the size. Here's my hand for scale. It was big, all right. Taste wise, certainly the hallmarks of a good pizza but I ain't no pizza expert. Still waiting for someone to take me to Mikey's and treat me to a meal there. Any takers?
Bolognese was delicious. The Pizza has crunchy base with tomato sauce, Bolognese sauce, and cheese. Bolognese (5inch) @ RM 16
The braised lamb shank swimming in a rich tomato broth had probably braised for too long as the meat did not fall off but melted off the bone. Because the meat was so soft, it lacked that essential chew in meat. The mashed potato needed seasoning as well.
It’s a great Italian restaurant! Enorme sure got lots of potential to be a big hit as the food here is made with lots of thoughts and loves. Resident Chef William Teh certainly did a delicious job in constructing the menu for Enorme. Must-haves at Enorme are the Carbonara Pizza, Carre di Maiale, Anatra and Zuppa di Mare. What a great find….
Of course I chose the most decadent one, their Carbonara Pizza (RM13/32/60) laden with crispy streaky bacon, heavy cream, button mushrooms, Italian parsley, mozzarella and decorated with an egg yolk right in the centre. Its rustic delicious porky elements scored all the points, as far as I was concerned. Do not miss this.
All in all, Enorme is a cozy and spacious restaurant that’s worth visiting just for the wood-fired pizzas alone. Price wise it’s inexpensive and affordable enough to be a daily lunch joint.
What is an Italian dinner without dessert? I had my eye on the deconstructed tiramisu as soon as I spotted it and quite shameless (I admit) ordered it when my friend/restaurant owner asked me if I wanted more. It is served in four separate drops of mascarpone, cream, marsala wine, sponge finger, coffee jelly and coffee sauce. Totes love this version although more alcohol wouldn't hurt. #Justsaying
