          Daging steak dia pun lembut. Masak secukup rasa. Makanan yang saya order fish & chips pun macam tak larat habis. Dan yang penting apabila saya potong fish & chips dia tidak pecah berderai. Ada setengah kedai ikan dia pecah jadi susah nak makan.

                Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich from the ala carte menu at MYR 22 nett. Her portion of fries is bigger than the portion in the set lunch as can be seen in the photo below. Unfortunately she does not eat cheese and there is a slice of melted cheese on the chicken so she has to do her best to scrap off that slice of cheese to give to another friend. Her comment is that the chicken is quite tasty.

                    On my first date with Miriam, we went with the Japanese Cheese Cake. It's not brag worthy, but it definitely tastes good. Sponge-like, airy and with a dose of sweet cheese. What's not to love, right?

                      Verdict : Selective dish that is must-have such as Creamy Seafood Tomyum. I'll return for its ambiance and to try their coffee. For the price of the breakfast set, it needs improvement.

                        My Personal Opinion Perhaps I didn't order the right dishes....perhaps the chef had an off day...perhaps it was his off day (and his kitchen comrades didn't execute his vision as well as he had trained them)....perhaps...perhaps..... Let's just say I wasn't in seventh heaven.....at Tujoh...and leave it at that! :'(

                            Salmon Fried Rice with SoftShell Crab + Lemonade (Set Lunch), 18 ringgit. This was delicious. I love fried rice that taste like it is home cooked and the rice here tasted just the way I like it. I can’t explain it but it has a welcoming feel to it. Less of the “its a professional dish with bombastic flavors” and more of a ” simple yet delicious” . The soft shell crab was yummy. Crunchy, crispy on the outside and moist and ‘crabby’ on the inside. Just having a spoonful of fried rice + soft shell crab + egg was da bomb. The fried rice was soo yummy that I totally forgot to give it a go with the mint sauce that came with the dish, on the side. So, I cant really comment on how it would taste, lol but yea, just t let you all know – this dish comes with a side of mint sauce.

                              Since the structure of the shop comes from a traditional design, by default it has an air-well area at the centre of the shop. The owner has brilliantly converted the air-well into dining area with some trees and plants planted in between. It is indeed a unique design. The interior of the cafe is decorated with antiques such as box type TV, old fashioned radios, and black and white paintings. It certainly gives me a feeling of entering a 70’s/80’s house.

                                Beside, we also had tried their Cabonara Fettuccine which we all approved on that day. The fettuccine was cooked to perfect and you won't feel bloated with the creamy taste.

                                  Overall Rating: 7.5/10. I really liked what I had that afternoon, though I have to note that customer service was still a little floppy. It appears that there were still attempting to find their grasp in things - it's a new cafe after all. Nevertheless, I'd definitely recommend dropping by.

                                    我是个很爱吃baked eggs的人... 这个Moroccan Baked Eggs真的很好吃，尤其是把所有的东西放在面包上一起吃，真的会让人不自觉就把它给吃光光。大推！ 但如果你不喜欢重口味，那这道baked eggs就不适合你咯...

                                      Another photogenic cafe to check-in, simple but cosy. Most importantly, it is a neighbourhood cafe with affordable price, it caters for students and residents nearby. I kinda love their water, love…

                                        On top of the comfy ambiance and nice food, the staffs at Tujoh were really friendly and attentive. Despite the crowd when we were there, the cafe did not get too noisy or uncomfortable. I actually saw a few people took their laptop and made that place their workstation of the day. With the portion given, the pricing at Tujoh is considerably-reasonable.

                                          Located next to Restoran K. Intan, a shop famous for their egg noodles, dumpling soup, siu yoke curry noodles and wantan mee, Tujoh Kafe Section 17 reflects a contrasting dining scene between traditional kopitiam and modern cafe. Cross generation kind of F&B trend but thanks to Malaysians’ love for food, both old and new are still highly favoured.
