Verdict: There’s definitely a lot more food to try at Restoran O & S, especially the highly recommended Asam Laksa and Curry Noodles, but waiting for table in a stuffy environment never something I enjoy. Revisit? I don’t have a firm answer I would say. ╮(╯_╰)╭
What do We Like about O&S Restaurant, Taman Paramount? -Best curry mee in the neighbourhood -Tasty char kueh teow -The coffeeshop setting for local delicacies
Personally I like their Macau egg (egg in tomato sauce) and kam heong pork slices. Very much to my liking. Also to note is their rice portion is very huge (we like to eat rice by the way), usually we shared one bowl of rice.

On 5 June 2019 (Wed - HR Day 1), we ate breakfast at O&S Coffee Shop, Paramount Garden, PJ. A bowl of Kway Teow Th'ng at MYR6.5 nett and it tastes just as good as back in 2016.
My Personal Opinion I don't think I've come across any kuey teow th'ng in KL that offers pork intestines and coagulated blood as an option. I've only had it with shredded chicken, fish balls and fish cake so far. I read that this is an authentic version of Penang kuey teow th'ng though there's also another version that comes with duck meat and duck blood too it seems. If you like a good kuey teow soup, this is a contender.....innards or not! ^.^
Better to get a seat in-side the kopitiam near the Tea-preparation area away from the stalls as all the hot air from the dozen or so stalls get cooped-up around the "outdoor" seating area, with fans seems to blowing from all directions.
Once seated, I went to order an item that I have not eaten for years... Curry + Assam Laksa Noodles. You can only get it @ O&S Restaurant, as this vendor sells Curry Mee and also Assam Laksa. hehehe.. I bet you have heard of 'LorMee + Penang Hokkien Mee. If you like something different, you can check out this item. I love the creaminess of the Curry gravy mixed with the tanginess of the Assam Laksa. It's best of both worlds!.
With this fourth instalment, I think I've pretty much covered (or more like eaten) most of the stalls here but maybe not all that they have to offer...fried "ninko", banana fritters and nasi lemak (always sold out by the time I get there) are some that I didn't try. The others like the kway teow th'ng (flat rice noodles in clear soup), fish head noodles and the new prawn mee stall I did try (some time back) but they didn't leave much of an impression. You know it's not easy to find good Penang food in KL....but this is surely a good contender. My final parting words....."apa-apa pun sedap di sini" (anything is delicious here, well almost)...and each and everyone of us will have our own favourites, I'm sure. My favourites...the glutinous rice dumplings, yong tau foo, chee cheong fun, Penang curry mee, Indian rojak and wantan mee....oh dear, I think I just named one-third of the stalls here already! :D
Assam Laksa This is AWESOME! Probably the best Asam Laksa in PJ, close to what we had in Penang! Best part is they are served with generous chunks of mackerel, thinly sliced cucumbers, onions, fresh mint leaves, pineapple, red chili and prawn paste. The noodles’ texture were good and the soup was a combination of sour and spicy – aromatic and full with flavor. Are you drooling yet?
