PUTIEN Oysters season is back from 1 November 2019 to 31 March 2020. When Autumn comes around, the oysters are prime for harvesting as they are at their plumpest and juiciest.
Overall, it was a unique experience to try the minimalist preparation of live eels in PUTIEN.
PUTIEN has yet to disappoint. The eel dishes are deliberately meant to suit a lighter palette, but it has its place among the other greats in its menu.

Overall, it was a pleasant meal at Putien Kitchener Road.
I've never thought that Putien is great with desserts. They still aren't. This loquat with herbal jelly wasn't too bad. Wasn't the traditional herbal jelly I was thinking of because it tasted citrusy, but I'd eat this again.
These 5 dishes from the First Harvest Seaweed Season Menu at Putien 2016 may not have great presentation; it is the taste that won us over.
