White Rose Cafe of York Hotel Singapore launches ‘Flavours of Asian Rice Bowls’ promotion inspired by the myriad flavours, textures, and taste of contemporary rice bowls.
Apart from the grain bowls, diners can also order a la carte dishes and I would recommend their Chicken Satay or Calamari. Both are quite addictive in flavours.

I really enjoyed the refreshed a la carte menu at White Rose Cafe. The dishes served are food that is closed to our heart and I have to admit that it has executed them well. I would recommend the fish head curry, mee goreng and mee siam as my favourite.

四道新菜当中最特别的是这道牛肉米粉(Wok-Fried Crispy Bee Hoon with Sliced Beef),乍看还以为牛肉片下面的是一片片的竹笙或鱼鳔,细看才发现是米粉油煎成片状,外脆内软。牛肉片选用前腰脊肉的部位,软嫩细滑。
The Crispy Egg Noodle is a local favourite as well as mine too. The textural enjoyment of the crispy noodle is complemented by the special double boiled stock from Chef Tham's treasured recipe. It is further topped with fresh prawns, sliced fish and vegetable for a satisying meal.
Overall, we enjoyed the classic Singaporean style dishes tagged at very reasonable pricing, moreover it is near Orchard area.
